Everyone Wants Michael's Money!
George Folsey, Jr. and John Landis, the producer and director of Michael Jackson's epic Thriller music video respectively, each filed a claim for some serious cash against the late pop star's estate.
Both are claiming that they have not received their portion of the profits over the past few years.
Folsey is suing for $1 million and Landis is after $1.3 million. Landis also sued MJ in order to prevent "Thriller" from being used in other ways, including a Broadway show!
What a shame - as THAT could be amazing! Those cases are still pending.
Leonard Rowe, Jackson's former manager, and shady dermatologist Dr. Arnold Klein have also filed claims for money.
Looks like they all want a piece of the pie since Michael's death.
We'll just have to wait and see what the greedy SOBs end up with!

I don't get it. Why are they greedy for wanting the money that is owed to them? MJ was notorious for not paying his bills and not paying people what they were owed. Seems like if they have a valid claim they should go for it.

The lawsuit was brought in January, which being such a big fan of Jackson's I'm sure you would know was before his death. And how exactly has it been 'provin' he was charged more for services, like this video? Especially since it would have been paid for by his record company… Also, how can it 'just so happen' that people are bringing lawsuits after he died yet 'people have been thinking of ways to get to MJ money since thriller'? He didn't like paying for things because he thought he should have to as he's Michael Jackson, and that's how he got into so much fucking debt.

Michael was sued over and over again during his lifetime, so this is nothing new.
I used to wonder if people were trying to take advantage of him because he was so shy, but now I've seen that Michael was a tiger where business was concerned.
Instead, I think Michael spent lavishly and didn't have the money to live up to his business committments, and that's why he's being sued.
He had a lot of money coming in around the Thriller era, and a lot of shady people working for him. Michael put his trust into people that he really should have and this is the result. Im sure he paid them for their work though.

Re: bongo – Bongo, a book of ART PHOTOS, of children were among a lot of presents sent by some fans.Anyone who would find such classical art Photography suspicious should get a brain implant. Nothing was found in MJ's possession which could support the accusations , supposed to buried in a 14 year old boy's subconcious, and needed to be extracted by the use of" sodium amytal" injections by a shady psychiatrist. Sodium amytal is often used to plant FALSE MEMORIES in people's minds. Such evidence is unacceptable in any court.
