The Oscars are significantly better when a song and dance man holds the reins of the show.
Hugh Jackman has opted not to return to the Oscar telecast this year, not wanting to host two years in a row, but he is still interested in returning eventually.
That leaves a major opening in La La Land!
Who will take his place?
We vote Neil Patrick Harris! He's proven himself VERY worthy!

NPH has noting to do with movies…this is the Oscars, not the Emmy's. For movie stars, not tv stars.
Would love to see John Stewart return or Billy Crystal again… If not Neil Patrick Harris would be awesome, the guy is hilarious and can get a great laugh
I am curious how he has proven himself, because he is gay? For the longest time now I have refrained from saying anything about what I believe to be your double standards. You shove gayness down peoples throats and criticize people who are against gays. People are entitled to their OWN CHOICES. As you are entitled to believe and support gays, the people who believe it is disgusting, immoral or whatever are also entitled to that opinion. If you don't want to hear the other side of it, don't have a public blog, have a "for gays only" blog or something.
I have sat here watching you belittle others, calling them ugly, fat, and a maltitude of other things. Have you looked in the mirror? You are one of the most unpleasant people to look at. You are fat and extremely ugly. I do not mean that rudely, it is just my observation and opinion.
I have always been told that people who live in glass houses shouldn't throw stones. I think this would definitely apply to you Perez…you need to take a step back and look at yourself before you write about someone else.
Anyhow, I realize this doesn't belong under this storyline, it just so happened to come out here. It is nothing more than my 2 cents really….and was just something I wanted to say for a while.
I would never ever want you to host the oscars because you don't actually have any talent so being at any type of award show is kind of pointless for you fat boy. As for a host I'm picking Robert Pattinson if you want the best ratings ever due to the tween twilight obession, but if you want someone with substance Colbert or Steve Carill

I think NPH is a fantastic idea. He would be a great host, he has mass appeal, he's versatile. Hope it works.

The best hosting job I've seen was justin timberlake at the Espy's. Better then NPH at the emmy's.

Mr. Harris did a fine job at hosting the Emmys and the Tony Awards. Perez, si quieres ser un anfitrión de eventos especiales, algún día, espero que estés tomando clases de canto, baile, actuación y sobre todo dicción, mi vida, pues te he escuchado hablar en videos y tu voz es extremadamente ligera al punto de ser desagradable en declaraciones breves. Tienes un acento angelino muy marcado, suena casi completamente femenino. Un maestro de declamación puede ayudarte a corregir estos problemas y sí, algún día tendrás los arrestos para ser anfitrión. Espero que sí.
