This Is It Tickets For $1

And it's only been out since Wednesday!
As part of a promotion for "Fandango Friday", the online ticket seller is giving away $1 tickets for This Is It to the first 50 people in every major city on their email list that enter a special promotional code.
If they're selling giving away tickets at this price, Sony may be more disappointed than we expected!

They actually do that often. They did it with Harry Potter and UP. But good luck being one of the ones to get the tickets. Its not a sign of its box office power/weakness.
Fandango does this EVERY Friday (or nearly), with whatever the "big" movie is that's out this week. It's not a reflection of the movie, it's just a promotion.
Yeah those were gone HOURS ago! I got the email @ 11:43 this morning and @ 11:44 they told me they were gone! LOL

No, P, not because it's a flop! This is done OFTEN. I saw the movie, and it was magical. I'm not even a huge MJ fan, but bless him and the magic that he was. I LOVED it. 4 stars from me!!!

I saw "THIS IS IT" and thought it was awesome…I will never forget that movie or the incredible man starring in it.
Pumpkinhead knows all about marketing. That's why his wonderful tour of the gayborhood had an average attendance of 50 people per venue, even though he GAVE the tickets away. How's the Sliimy contest going? Any entries yet??

Fandango does that promotional all the time. It is not unusual. Since you don't pay to see movies anymore, you wouldn't know that.
The movie is not bombing! The movie is successful AND is getting great reviews. They do this often, and if you actually knew information before you started talking out of you ass, you wouldn't look like such an idiot most of the time. Your seriously a joke.

Perez, this is SO stupid. Fandango does this ALL the time. For the record, the movie made over $20 million in it's first day, not $2 million like you reported. Stop trashing Michael Jackson's achievements, it's SO old.
Considering the real news just reported a three day gross of $21 million on the movie, I think Sony is going to do just fine.

I don't think THAT many people cared when he died, some did, just not as many as the media or his family makes it out to be…most people i knew were just like "oh no, lets listen to thriller" and then he wasn't talked about again. This guy was a singer who lost his light YEARS ago, he had talent but that all got overshadowed…can't we all just move on to something more important?
I just saw it and This Is It is the most wonderful film EVER!!. Love Love Love it. Go while you can. Omigod. I want to see it again and again. Michael made every note count. Every note was a movement. it was soooo beautiful. An amazing film. go see it.
I saw the movie and it is def not a "fake". The movie shows the true MJ, a man who cared about our world and the future of this world. People are too quick to judge him. Even as a true MJ fan I realize that some of the speculations that I can't prove as wrong are upsetting to his legacy, but looking at his legacy as a whole I am eternally grateful for his genius artistic ability. I am from a younger generation who was just born when his music was in the limelight, but I have developed an appreciation just as grand as anyone else because his music relates to everyone no matter what generation. MJ's talent was immeasurable and his legacy will live on forever!!
