Let's just cut the chase - Will Bette Midler be appearing in Sex and City 2?
No…and we're totally bummed.
Bette finally set the records straight about her rumored cameo. Though she was seen recently strolling with Sarah Jessica Parker on set, she was only there for moral support - for her daughter, Sophie.
Bette explains: "My daughter was a PA on the movie. It was a big thrill for her. She had a great time. She loves the business."
Oh well, maybe next time! There will be a Sex and the City 3, right?

BTW this movie can't have everything thing in it INCLUDING the kitchen sink, because at some point it ceases to be a movie and becomes a circus. Just an opinion.

The title of this post implies that there is a possibility that Bette might be in the movie - even though that is not the case. Also, the phrase 'cut to the chase' is used incorrectly here - please hire a literate person, or at least someone who has graduated from grammar school. Anyway, nice to see that Bette and SJP are still close all of these years after working together on 'First Wives Club'.
