Nicole Richie Gets Restraining Order

Nicole Richie is seeking a restraining order against paparazzo Bam Bam that caused the car accident she had earlier this month.
She has both private investigators and lawyers involved because of the crash.
We wonder what else has gone on besides Bam Bam hitting her car? Seems a bit strange to get a restraining order for a one-time offender.
We're sure the truth will come out soon enough!

I hope some of these jerks get jail time.It isn't journalism when you harass and stalk people and swarm them and follow them to cause an accident. It's a criminal offense. You are using your camera as a weapon. That isn't protected under freedom of the press. They are just animals. Theytapped Brad Pitt and caused him to fall off his bike. He could have been killed last week. Good fo Nicole.

how is it strange that she does this? shes perfectly within her rights to do it, its actually illeal for the paparazzi to do what they do(if they are not wanted by the celebrities) as they are taking photos of people in their private life, its only legal for them to take pictures of celebrities at public events, even shopping and going for dinner is thought of as private.

Nicole Ritchie grew up in a life of wealth and priviledge and with her connections most likely could have lived the same life but in privacy. Instead - she chose to become famous for being famous. She appeared on the Simple Life with that other idiot - which basically was a show where her and Paris (the other idiot) mocked regular people and their lives. She drives down a highway under the influence backwards…goes on Letterman to get more press for herself…apparently DUI is funny to her. Then she decides she wants a nice normal family life ….which includes more fame whoring via People Magazine. SHE SIGNED UP FOR THIS!! This girl is nothing but an entitled snotbag. I don't feel sorry for her.
she's desperate and will do anything to stay in the news - her bumper was hardly scratched, not broken… it happens everyday - it's ok for her to sell baby pics to magazines but not for paps to take pics of her for free

You're not very much on top of things Perez. These two clowns have been stalking her house, and then following her wherever she goes. She's worried about her children obviously.

The paps behaviour over the last few years, particularly when it comes to their treatment of celebs while with their KIDS, has made me lose interest in the tabs that I used to love (US, People, and the like). If it requires damn near running someone down or blocking their exit or stalking their homes, then I can't support that. I'd freak the fuck out too if weirdos were following me around (and not in a restraining order kind of manner either)!!!

I mean why are paps running after this underachiever former cokehead? I can understand paps going crazy over RPattz b/c he is really outrageously hot, talented and humble. But to get this chick's pics? Who in their crazy mind is interested about her? Perez, I know you like her so please do your thing and stop publishing anything about her b/c your readers don't even care. She can get all the restraining orders that she can but we don't want to hear it!
heads would roll if some jackass ran into my car while i was with my kids while they were trying to take my photo. i love those of you who want to bash this girl yet you bothered to comment thus exemplifying exactly why she is still famous.
