Girls Aloud member and X Factor judge Cheryl Cole, has much to celebrate today. She is now one of the few female artist ever to achieve simultaneously a U.K. No. 1 single and album!

Her debut solo album 3 Words opened in the top spot while her single, Fight For This Love, arrived at No. 1 last week, was dubbed the U.K.'s fastest-selling single of the year, and has held onto the top honor for the second week.

I hear she's releasing 3 Words as a single here next year but I think it should be Stand Up! This is amazing though, but I hope it doesn't mean the end of Girls Aloud.

I figured out why so many Englishmen are marrying American girls and why a lot of English girls marry American men. They like to have dual citizenship. It's good for business and their global image. A lot of English become ex-pats to avoid taxes. If you think people only marry for love, then you're naive. Often it's about money or power too. Pop stars with dual citizenship usually have more hits around the globe. I know a lot of people in the UK who are desperate to get out of it.

Love the fact that brown-eyed brunettes are now coming into their own and considered very attractive!! Started with Cindy Crawford. Used to be that all models and those considered attractive had light eyes and light hair or, rarely, light eyes and dark hair. Now brown eyes and brown hair is coming into it's own!! It just opens things up for a lot of people.

It's pretty rare people would marry for a citizenship and I'm sure many American has done it. In this day and age, more and more people are glad not to live in America. I have both British and Australian citizenship and couldn't be luckier.

Am I the only one who thinks that her song is crap? It is repetitive and when you listen to the song a beginner singer can sing it since there is barely hard notes to sing. It's nothing special, it would have been acceptable if it was at least among the top 10, but not no. 1 for crying out loud.
