J. Simpleton took to her Twitter to express her disdain for Melrose Place and support for her recently-fired sister, Asslee Simpson.
Says Jess:
"CW catching up on MP.who writes this crap?i have had bad scripts to work with,but this?thank God my sister is amazing and got you some press."
Is it bad scripts or bad acting? You've been known to participate in some bombs yourself. Major Movie Star, anyone?
An insider revealed that Ass was fired from Melrose Place because "she was embarrassingly bad. Producers cut her down as much as possible." Another said that "she's the worst actress, but nobody will tell her."
Apparently Ass doesn't want to go back to singing either because she would have to tour and be away from son Bronx Mowgli.
So she can't act and she can't sing? Sounds like someone could fade into obscurity at any moment…

That show was awful, but I began to like the storyline a bit more after a few episodes. I realised it was Ashlee Simpson that was ruining the show for me. She made it terrible! Thank goodness she's leaving! Her character was creepy.

The saddest part is that I watched her on Melrose Place and it was the best acting performance I've ever seen from her. I was almost impressed a little bit how much she's improved since her 7th Heaven days. Not to say that she's good, she still sucks really really bad, but she was better. Maybe it's just easier to tolerate her crap acting when she's skinnier and has a different nose.
MELROSE PLACE is the best show on television.

I love the new MP, but Asslee's horrendous acting made me not want to watch. Now that she's gone I will actually enjoy the show! Both of these girls are past their due date and need to quickly fade away. Neither has any talent.
