Re: EmmySeattle – Shut The Fuck up . Most Likely You Look As Stupid As You Sound. Stay In YOUR Place, Asshole.
Perez, you forgot to mention Washington State: YES on Referendum 71
You do realize that with this post you are now lobbying in Maine on Issue 1 and therefore need to report the expenditure?!?!?!?!?! Should someone file a complaint on you with the state of Maine you can and will be hit with serious fines. Perez, you've often mentioned in interviews wanting to be arrested…keep breaking election laws and this will be your fastest way to get locked up and lose all your money!
FUCK GAY MARRIAGE!!!!!!!!!! IT'S SICK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! SICKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK! SICK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.ANYONE WHO THINGS THAT IS NORMAL NEEDS A SHRINK IMMEDIATELY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sad to say, driving through Maine, there are many more YES ON 1 signs than NO ON 1. Funny.. I thought Maine was the right color state for equal rights & democracy!!
Re: PerfectPrincess228 – i'll fuck you up, watch out, and get back on the porch, MONKEY.
jejejejejejejeje
Why do 90% of gay people come from troubled pasts? I know tons of gay people and they all have a story to tell about their dad that left them, or they were abused, or their dad ignored them.. etc.. I feel bad for them but these people I know were for sure not born gay!
Re: EmmySeattle – the best place for a stupid shit like you is the bottom of the toilet pan - you asshole!
Re: kissmyassobama – I bet your a bible Hypocrite ain't ya! You are sick bitch!
RESIDENTS OF WASHINGTON STATE, VOTE YES ON REF 71!
YOU HAVE UNTIL 8PM TO TURN IN YOUR BALLOT!
Re: LadyBug115 –
# 27
Just curious. What "election laws" have been broken on this site?
Here we go again.
The "gays are sick and disgusting" against "equality for all"
America at its best.
How I wish the outcome could be that everyone JUST GET ALONG!!
myself & my whole family in arundel, maine are voting NO!
Actually Perez is protected under the first amendment. Second he also protected under California law. Third an expenditure report would not be necessary because he is not being reimbursement or from our knowledge know if he received a nonconstruction grant by his statement. Fourth he would be protected by lawyers such as myself who believe in true freedom. Fifth, I admire a person who feels so strong about something that they are fearless of what may happen to them. I used to be a southern Maine resident and I support NO on 1 !!!! Equality for ALL!!!
Re: Sassyterp – you can register at the polls in maine.
Re: KimInNB – it depends on where you are in maine, which signs you'll see more of

Re: Sassyterp – Sassy - you can vote still!! Just go to your polling location with your id, ssn, or proof of residency - such as a CMP bill or utilities bill. Something. Call your town clerk in Kennebunkport. Do it. We need every no voter out there.
Thanks!
My hubbie and I already voted NO ON 1!! Hoping the results are good…
i cant vote yet but i live in maine. all the signs for "yes on 1" are bright blue and yellow and big and scattered EVERYWHERE. ive seen like, 2 "no on 1"s in my town, theyre like, grey and dull and boring. i dont understand why they would do that, its horrible. the people who just vote for the sake of voting and dont know what theyre voting for (like 40% of maine lol) are gonna see the yes on one signs and remember them and vote yes. :/ im not gay or anything but its not fair to deny people the right to get married, love is love. and honestly, how the hell will it affect you if your not gay?? it really wont. people are so horrible sometimes.
whats this? (dont cry im english) ? x
im not going to be hateful and say gays and blacks need to stay in there place … thats ignorance at its finest … but if i lived in maine i would vote no .. we r slowly making a mockery out of our constituation .. i agree everyone should be treated equal and i also know that i have a lot of gay friends and they seem to treat marriage as "the thing to do"… one week they r with one person telling everybody their married .. next week when u ask about other person its o we're not together anymore… wtf??? its like gays just want to bitch about being treated equal and but dont want to have to abide by the same rules or laws that everyone else has to… if u speak out against gay marriage ur a bigot .. gays want to force their agenda on everyone else and want us to respect them but they themselves are intolerant of those who also stand up for what we believe in…if u want to be treated equal start with urself.. remember what ur momma said .. treat others the way u want to be treated..
It is sad that this issue is even on the ballot. Allowing the many to vote on the civil rights of the few is never a good idea. If we did this as a nation, racially mixed marriages and civil rights would never have passed at the ballot in the 60s.
That is why I am glad I live in Massachusetts where this has been legal for 5 1/2 years and is likely to continue on and never find it's way onto a ballot.
In 5 1/2 years gay marriage has brought no harm to straight marriage or to society as a whole. Massachusetts remains one of the most highly educated states in the country, with average or below national average abortion rates, a high marriage rate, low crime levels, particularly the crime of murder, and on top of doing well on a myriad of social issues, the divorce rate has in fact dropped since gay marriage has been legal. Doesn't look like a complete brake down in the "moral fiber" of the state some predicted.
Maine may repeal, but I think time is on the side of the gay marriage issue as statistics show the younger you poll the more likely people are to being pro gay marriage. And BTW we are in the military now and will soon be openly so.
yay to vote no on 1! even though i am not old enough to vote yet, i have made sure to help contribute to spreading the knowledge of this law, and how incredibly important it is. i hope we succeeded in spreading the word! vote NO ON 1!!!
Already did!

Did my part, voted no on 1!
perez, Instead of wasting the time to cut and paste " No on 1" multiple times…. you'd think someone so passionate about a cause or issue would at least provide a link to a description to what is being voted on.
Yes, it's only focused on one state today, but educating people on what's going on in that state, might influence or help people living in the rest of the US understand, and form an opinion about this issue when the time comes that it is brought to their local government…. just a thought.

so, Im born and raised and college educated in maine and I voted, so this is a big deal. IM SO GLAD you said something about it, I was about to send a ranting bitchy email about it, actually. THIS IS A BIG DEAL we can make history here its not about equal rights its about changing mentalities and I hope we did an ok job. Currently..at 1:30 est its not looking pretty…52% want to ban it with 47% wanting to make that shit legal…its real close. i hope it fucking goes thro. im on the live feed. thats all i got….
I'm so sorry. Don't give up the fight.
.
One day there WILL BE EQUALITY FOR ALL!
Gay marriage has now lost in every single state — 31 in all — in which it has been put to a popular vote.
This just proves that the American people, while willing to tolerate gay unions in the form of civil unions, are not prepared to accept those unions as marriage. In my opinion, the radical gay activists are not about equality, they are about revenge. Revenge for being bullied in the school yard, for being the butt (no pun) of jokes, and even sadly the victims of violent crime. So if they get to marry like the rest of the world, it's a pie in the face to all those who condemned them as freaks or worse.
why does everyone assume that having an opinion that is not endorsed by popular media is "ignorant"? why can't we fight for equality for all in a manner that reflects EQUALITY of all including opinions?
i voted no on 1. and for everyone who is not in this great state of maine; i promise you, this fight isn't over. there is a lot of passion on the east coast to make this happen. it is coming.
