Meh. Looks like another effects-driven movie with minimal plot to draw in the tweens.
ugh, cheesy! and they totally ripped of "assassins creed"! and, as much as i find gyllenhaal sexy, he looks like a total doosh-nozzle. FAIL (in my book)

I saw that movie back in the days when it was called "The Mummy".
Ok it will be a blockbuster. But is sad to see the great Ben Kingsley doing those shitty movie.

with those effects is this national treasure…or transformers…or 2012…or…well..it could be any over cgi'd piece of crap…not much humor which is one of reasons i.e. an indiana jones franchise did well…action with humor…not action with wooden indian face jake..not a good looking trailer…

I would be extremely surprised if Perez had ever played a Prince Of Persia videogame. Well, if you want to prove me wrong, at least play the original on Macintosh, Perez. Play it for 20 minutes. It's a classic.

Kudos to Jake, his accent is spot on, nice to see an American actor actually managing to do the English accent. Also, looking seriously ripped!! Very hot indeed. Reese is a lucky gal! Movie looks shit though!
I can't wait to see it because I love history and fanstay film…this will be the awesome one…

I think that maybe they should actually cast Persians (modern-day Iranians) in this movie. It would make it a lot more authentic…less American. The leading lady's voice is annoying…probably because she has an English accent.
love the game the few times i played so ive been looking forward to watching this.. looks fun!
weird how i never got the JG hype or w/e till Witherspoons came along and amped up his appeal for me. i hope they make it for awhile.

i love gemma and this looks quite good! it always makes me laugh how in historic films, even if they are set halfway round the world, everyone is posh!

Umm… Persians are from Iran. and Perisans don't have British accents. They couldn't find a Persian looking actor? They have to Gyllehall who has major gayface? Hollywood sucks.

Two Things:
One: In the original video game, the hero in The Prince of Persia is actually a foreigner of unknown origin that is jailed in Persia, because of the princesses interest in him. He later becomes prince after rescuing the princess. Therefore, they are not using a white guy in place of an Iranian.
Two: Kid Koala, I'm lost, what is the point you are trying to make? PoP came out in 1989 and Assassins Creed in 2007.

I predict Jake will slip in and out of his accent. He can't do accents well. In Brokeback he tried to sound like a hick rodeo rider at times but most of the time he sounded like the upper class Beverly Hills kid he is. Ledger got his accent right and kept it consistently throughout the movie.

I'm usually not into these movies but this looks freaking awesome! I don't know shit about the video game or whatever but as a film apart from the prince of persia persona it looks like a bad ass movie! I'll be there!

I'll admit that this does actually look pretty good…even though the guy's not persian…plus it seems like they stuck the story line of the game pretty well…but, we shall see
