The Quaids Are A No-Show: Part III!

These two are a piece of work! First swindling hotels and now, taxpayer $$$$$!
Although Randy and Evi Quaid requested their case to be put on the calendar, the fugitive couple was a no show AGAIN in a Santa Barbara court on Monday.
"The case was put back on calendar today when local counsel approached me with consent of Mr. Carter," said Judge Clifford Anderson. "But they are not here and so bench warrants remain out as they have since they were issued back in September. And this time we will not be putting case back on calendar until they definitely post bail or appear in person."
Serves them right!
"All bets are off," exclaimed District Attorney Lee Carter. "I received the phone call this morning that the case was on calendar. But they're not coming. They just can't seem to make it here."
Supposedly, they are sick and resting in Texas! And we can't believe that's the best lie they could come up with!
Santa Barbara Sheriff's Department Detective Rod Forney gave us some insight as to why the two may be shy to show their face in a court of law.
"They're afraid to show up because they will be arrested," he said. "And they're absolutely right. That's exactly what would happen. There's no telling what is going through their minds right now."
What a revelation!
But, the Quaids better face the music because the DA is becoming increasingly more agitated!
"Lee Carter was on the phone with Evi and she was screaming and ranting at him. He spoke to her like someone calming down a mentally ill person. He just kept repeating the same thing over and over again. You can tell that he's really beginning to tire of all the drama," claims a witness. "He advised her that if they come to California they need to contact a bail bondsman and an attorney because they will be arrested, no way around that."
Hop to it, d-bags!
