Are The Weinsteins one step closer to buying their beloved Miramax back from Disney????
With Disney downsizing the company by 70% and only releasing three films under the Miramax name, could mega producers Bob and Harvey buy
back the name????
Sources say that the Weinsteins would be game to buy back the rights to their studio, and would "even be happy to manage the library" if the deal goes through!
Disney reps say they have no knowledge of the Weinsteins' request, but we don't see why they'd pass up the offer!

DISNEY = MIND CONTROL PROGRAMMING. Go ask all of the Mickey Mouse Club members what they had to do to be in the cast, if they can even remember those memories which they have blocked.

They'd pass on the offer because the Weinsteins are bankrupt or nearly there. They don't have any capital to spare (everyone in the industry knows this.) The Weinstein Company is failing and the movie that would have taken them out of the red (Inglorious Basterds) didn't make close to enough to save them.
As someone else mentioned the Weinsteins don't have enough money to release movies, much less buy back Miramax. They had to split half the profits of Inglorious Basterds with Universal and the latest Halloween did not do as well as expected.
Disney alone will make a lot of money, but Miramax will help them.
This will be interesting.
