LaToya Returns To Brüno

Guess it won't be permanently deleted after all!

LaToya Jackson's 90 second scene in Sacha Baron Cohen's film Brüno will be featured as an extra on the DVD, which is being released on November 17th.

The scene was originally scrapped out of respect for the Jackson family following the sudden death of Michael Jackson.

Wonder why the change of heart???

Coin$!!! It's all about the coin$! The movie studio needs something to lure DVD buyers, such as this 90-second extra, featuring the (talentless) sister of Michael Jackson. Plus I'm sure LaToya is tickled to death about this. She obviously loves any attention/publicity she can get her hands on. Oh, and by the way, I thought the movie sucked BIG TIME. They tried a little too hard, and I personally feel *A LOT* of this movie was scripted or staged. It didn't come across as genuine as Borat did. Seriously, that whole talk show scene was clearly soooooooooooooo FAKE.

Interesting fact, though considered a failure it made 134.5 million worldwide. Mostly people saw it in the first week as the film collapsed by word of mouth thereafter.
The movie does stand as a hurdle to "This Is It" as it begins to go from the 31st most successful worldwide film of 2009 to a higher standing. "This Is It" needs to climb over such films as Bruno, 17 Again, Coraline, Bride Wars,The Taking of Pelham 1,2,3 and ironically Hanna Montana :The Movie to become a top 25 worldwide move for 2009. I believe it will be successful, whether it becomes a top 15 or top 10 film of 2009 remains to be seen.

The scene does reference Michael. I read about the scene on People.com and it says Bruno interviews La Toya and than he takes her phone and starts trying to find Michaels number and he yells out his number in fake german for one of his servants to write down and than La Toya storms out and drives away and Bruno yells after her "can I atleast have Jermaine?"

Why the change of heart, you ask? Because the movie bombed and they need to entice rentals and sales of the DVD. And as for keeping the scene out originally, it was not at all out of respect for Michael Jackson or his family - it was only because they knew that there would be a backlash. Sasha Baron Cohen is one-note - and worse, a phony and a hypocrite.

Funny. I thought the same thing about you, Mario. See, before Michael died, you were totally against him. Then the news came out, and you wrote and ignorant comment saying it was a publicity stunt.
