Maury And Oprah TIED In the Ratings!

We guess the American public love a bit of trashy television and just can't get enough of hearing Maury Povich telling would-be baby daddies: "You are NOT the father!"
Maury is now tied with Oprah as the number one talk show among adults ages 18-34 and Maury is the #2 talk show among women ages 18-49 and adults 18-49, second only to the Big O!
This is surprising to us because we thought Ellen or TyTy would be up there for sure!
For the week of October 19th, Maury averaged 3 million viewers per episode and was up 11 percent from their ratings during the same week last year!
We're sure Tyra is pulling out her weave her hair over this news!

I can see why Ellen is'nt on top, her show is so stupid, its like watching a show for teenagers or maybe kiddies. every time she dances around those silly ladies in the audience goes nutty, I don't get it…..
i love maury… oprah's show is just so boring now… she needs to go back to those controversial topics instead of that Dr. Oz crap she's had lately

Every single "Maury" show has the same premise. All he ever does is paternity tests. I don't see why so many people would tune in day after day to see that. Once you've seen one episode, you've seen them all. =/

Seeing how unemployment is on the rise.. I get the feeling that the people who are not working would enjoy his type of trashy show.
I LOVE Maury. I find the people on his show fascinating. Some people are almost like an entirely different species.
it's probably partly due to the show's time slot-and the fact that so many people are unemployed now and around to watch it.
i love maury, but i don't like his show…well sometimes i do, but definitely not the paternity episodes
