Penny Marshall Reportedly Diagnosed With Tumors

Wow.
Laverne & Shirley star turned famed producer Penny Marshall has been diagnosed with both brain and liver tumors, the National Enquirer is reporting.
So sad.
Marshall began to feel unwell after a flight from Los Angeles to New York to catch the Yankees in the World Series playoffs.
"After the flight, Penny felt so sick that she needed to see a doctor," says one source. "She was vomiting and thought it might be the flu."
While evaluating the A League of Their Own producer, doctors discovered tumors on Penny's brain and liver.
According to the insider, doctors informed Penny she would need to "schedule her for surgery and that they'd need to take a biopsy to determine if she had cancer."
Marshall reportedly underwent brain surgery in NY on October 30th.
1) We hope Enquirer is wrong!

In More magazine this month, there is an article about how Penny and Larraine Newman supported Marcia Strassman during her bone cancer battle. She even called Penny "the general". It looks like she was being prepared for her own battle now if this is true. Double damn.

Despite tabloid reports that she is suffering from a brain tumor, ET has learned that Penny Marshall is doing "fine" after spending a short time in a New York hospital.
"Penny was in the hospital because she wasn't feeling well and she was being checked out for the flu," a family friend confirms. "She was released from the hospital and we can confirm that everything is fine. Penny is expected to attend the Yankee game tonight in New York."
