Sean Penn's Son's Drugs Were Prescribed!

Filed under: Legal Matters > Sean Penn

hopperjack.jpg

Sean Penn
's 16-year-old son Hopper Jack will not be facing charges after being arrested for narcotics possession last week at his Malibu high school.

It turns out the drugs he had on his person were prescription meds in his name! After an investigation it has been ruled by the District Attorney that no charges were warranted.

The police aren't saying what type of drugs they were, but we're sure Hopper's going to be more careful with his prescriptions from now on.

Any guesses?

Vicodin? Percocet? OxyContin?

  1. 1

lets try adderall… its alot more plausible and as widely abused.

  2. 2

Schools are ridiculous these days, so it was probably something like keflex or aciphex.

  3. 3

Here's my guess you hateful cvnt…libel lawsuit

  4. 4

Something fishy, like an old Ham in the hot sun, is going on here. A 16 year old has a doctor treating him with narcotics? Come on. Maybe, if Lil' Hop hands 'em right off to Daddy.

  5. 5

That's bullshit. He's getting special treatment. The majority of schools nowadays, you can't have any type of medications, including tylenol. How do they know that he wasn't selling them?

  6. 6

    Mario…. you suck.

  7. 7

Kind of fucked up that it took this long to figure out they're prescription drugs??!! Cover up??

  8. 8

Whatever you do, don't aplogize for your early posts convicting him and throwing away the key.

  9. 9

I'll bet it was Adderall…or something close to that.

  10. 10

my 5 year old put Benadryl Spray in her backpack with my knowledge for her mosquito bites, and I got a note sent home to me from her teacher that it can't go into the classroom - must be channeled through the school nurse…

  11. 11

WITH his name on the bottle, WHY was he arrested????

  12. 12

given who his parents are … I sound person would suspect ADHD drugs..which in the hands of person who doesn't actually have ADD is speed. For those who are actually hyperactive, drugs have the reverse effect on you so speed acts as a sedative

  13. 13

    rich problems

  14. 14

You'd still get expelled at my kids' school. No tolerance, even with a prescription. There wouldn't be any court charges, though, just like in LA. Even a tylenol is enough for expulsion.

  15. 15

I'd bet money it was Adderall, Ritalin, or something similar to treat ADHD. Not Vicodin or oxycontin.. geeeez!! Adderall and Ritalin can definitely get you in trouble if you're in possession without a prescription. Had a friend in college that got arrested for having a single Adderall pill in his pocket.

  16. 16

Re: LauraLou – When I was in high school, we weren't allowed to have any drugs at all. We weren't even allowed to take tylenol or aspirin (teachers let us, but they had to pretend not to see). If we had prescriptions that we were supposed to take during the day, the teachers were supposed to have written notification of it with specific instructions. There must be similar rules at his school. It's ridiculous, but that's how it is.

  17. 17

of course not. nobody in hollywood gets arrested and if they do it's only for an hour at the most.

  18. 18

More likely Adderall, Concerta or something along those lines.

  19. 19

I'd say Adderall or some kind of ADHD medicine. They said it's a narcotic, which rules out Tylenol or any kind of antibiotic. Most schools don't let kids carry around their own medicine unless it's something for asthma or allergic reactions though.

  20. 20

    Female hormones.

  21. 21

Re: LauraLou – um, possibly because he's a SIXTEEN year old in possesion of NARCOTICS. What business does a child have with drugs of that nature on their person??

  22. 22

yep totally Adderall…probably selling to his classmates.

  23. Aries says – reply to this

    23

Sounds like the cops are in trouble for a false arrest as well as the school for allowing it.

  24. 24

    Back off, he's a kid…..
I have had 3 kids in school, all schools have zero tolerance.
Aspirin or an asthma inhaler are treated the same as any illegal drug.
My daughter was suspended for 7 days for having Midol in her back pack and it fell out in the cafeteria. There is no common sense left in these schools.
As for it being a prescribed drug even over the counter drugs have to have a Rx label slapped on them from your doctor, example Benedryl for allergic reactions is OTC but must have Rx label in school or is considered an illegal drug.

  25. 25

    ADDERALL

  26. kaylo says – reply to this

    26

Wow, you wont even admit that you were wrong. You made such a big deal.

  27. 27

For your with Tyra bet to leave kids off your site for the sake of them being someone famous' kid, has it already been 6 months?

  28. 28

It doesn't matter what the school says, if it's his prescription with his name on it, it is not a crime! Sure it may be a violation of schools rules, but not a crime! Sounds like incompetent cops. HOW long did it take them to see his name on the bottle???

  29. 29

Re: SarahBoston23 – Adderall fo sho!

  30. 30

    oxycontin

  31. 31

Im going to guess Adderal or Ritalin. Those are commonly prescribed to adolescents… and are also popular to sell to classmates.

  32. 32

I think you have the story wrong…I saw a picture last week of him with a busted/bruised nose. I think he got into trouble for fighting.

  33. leo32 says – reply to this

    33

I'm guessing its Adderall, Concerta, Stratera….or some similar ADHD medication. Or possibly Risperidone which is prescribed for anger management.

  34. 34

Any drugs, inhalers, etc are supposed to go through the school nurse. With that said, Zero Tolerance is bullshit because they pick and choose who they suspend. Kids hide inhalers in their backpacks all the time. My friend is a middle school teacher in Pacoima, CA where kids have been caught smoking pot on campus (12-14 year olds) and they were NOT suspended. Schools that have high suspension rates get a bad reputation, so they let a lot of things slip under the table.

  35. 35

LOL I'm so glad Sean got his drugs back! Mabe he and Fidel can do a toot or 2 togeher too!

  36. 36

These pills obviously weren't in any pill bottles, or he wouldn't have been arrested. They would've called his parents & suspended him because all prescribed meds are suppose to go straight to the nurse. That means he prolly had a baggy of loose pills & that's why the police were called. In schools there is zero tolerance about this.

  37. 37

    Don't make asinine assumptions retard.

Many drugs for ADHD, Depression, as well as Anxiety are considered in the Narcotic family.

    Glass houses, Perez, glass houses.

  38. 38

let's hope he gets hit by a bus. can you imagine how FUCKED UP his life is going to be, being the offspring of such a douchewad? and his mom…*yawn. inactive to say the least. mark your calendar and say you were there…this is the first of several thousand run ins with the law over drugs of any and all sort with this boy. sorry, lad. you were doomed from day one.

  39. 39

Hopper used to go to my high school. he DOES drugs, a lot of them. this is his third high school in three years. he almost was kick out because of drugs. hes a troubled kid. his parents are divorcing after years of fighting and he gets bored easily. Drugs are what he does for fun.

  40. 40

    This kid is 16?

  41. 41

    he's so tiny…he looks more like 12 than 16

  42. 42

    Ritalin…..probably. The common kiddiedrug..

  43. 43

ugh poor kid. stupid jealous people telling lies to police- terrible!

  44. 44

Perez - you have got to be kidding me????

You "reported" all this CRAP about Hopper Jak for nothing????

I thought you made a pact with Tyra to not "use" children on your blog????

    Get a life Perez!!!!
Usualy I like your blog - this is fucked up!!

  45. 45

If Commie pig Sean Penn was my father I would take drugs on a daily

  46. 46

that kid is 16?! he looks like he's 12….

  47. 47

    My vote is for Adderall.

  48. 48

He probably took thescript with him to school because if he left it at home, he may have feared Daddy would gobble them up.

  49. 49

Will the arrest be removed from records?

  50. Stepy says – reply to this

    50

Even if they are prescribed to him, ALL MEDS need to be kept at the schools OFFICE. Having them on your person is AGAINST THE LAW. Ugh. He was probably schelling them out to his buddies.

  51. 51

That boy is 16? He looks more like 12 to me.

  52. 52

Stop using pictures of him when he was twelve, you scumbag. He's sixteen.

  53. 53

I'll bet it is Adderall or Ritalin or something tame like that. People get up in the air for the most effed up things. I highly doubt any self-respecting Doc would give a child Vicodin, OxyContin or Percocet. Highly doubt they would be giving a teen some medicinal Marijuana. Whatevs.

  54. 54

    Papa Don't Preach
    i'm in trouble deep

  55. 55

is this a recent pic? he looks more like he's in elementary school than a 16 year old 9th/10th grader

  56. Niloo says – reply to this

    56

ADDERALL, CONCERTA, RITALIN, ETC. ADD or ADHD MEDS

  57. 57

Don't know when they moved to Malibu but they were raised in Marin. Both places are pretty "mellow" and I am goin' out on a limb and guessing "medical" marijuana!!
