She's not just into fashion and releasing fragrances!
Actress Sarah Jessica Parker will be joining the President's Committee on the Arts and the Humanities in an effort to help with President Barack Obama's arts initiatives.
Also joining the committee are actor/director Forest Whitaker, Edward Norton, Alfre Woodard, cellist Yo-Yo Ma and even Vogue editor Anna Wintour!
Next Tuesday they will all be installed in to the committee by Vice President Joe Biden.
We think SJPeePee is a great choice, actually! Not only is she a television and movie actress, but she was also involved in musical theater and has always been vocal about her appreciation for ballet.

It would be nice if these things were actually about enriching the arts but you know they're not. The NEA is nothing but an Obama propaganda machine and the Obama campaign has admitted to using the NEA and other Arts organizations to not speak for advancement of art but to push his agenda.

A long time ago she had photos and an article in one of the women's magazines, and she said that if she were more educated she would like to run for a senate seat, but said at least twice that she is not intelligent enough. I wonder if she even finished high school. She often tells of very hard times at home while growing up, having to help the adults, something like that. This woman MAKES ME SQUINT to look at her. She SO MUCH has had her 15 minutes of fame! DELIVER US!
Sarah Jessica Parker has been and continues to be herself a benefit to Arts and Humanities in the United States. Her lead roles in successful romantic comedies as well as star in one of the most watched cable TV shows of all time, Sex and the City, have made her a star. She IS a supporter of Broadway and the ballet as well as her husband, as he has been involved in theatre more than once. She is a born New Yorker and is a proud Jewish American iconic trailblazer. We, as a city, are proud of SJP!
