It was just announced that Bette Midler will be ending her run on the Vegas strip!
After a relatively short two year run at Caesars Palace, Bette will be giving her final performance on January 31, 2010.
We think it is about time - her tickets weren't really selling anymore.
Let's see, we've had Bette, Cher, Celine Dion, Mariah Carey… What divalicious mega star is on their way to Sin City next?

Kinda misleading, nothing in Vegas is selling well, not even Vegas.
…I have another suggestion. 'Lady Gaga and the tiger from Sigfield and Roy.' That should fill the audience if only for one performance.
I'd like to see some old school Divas together in a combined show for 6 months, two years is too long - Gladys Knight, Diana Ross, Gloria Estefan, Patti Labelle That would be a great show.
I saw her back in August. The room was full and she was just the most amazingly talented woman. I'm sorry she's going, but I totally understand it. She really put on a show!! She said she was going to end up being just a "puddle in high heels". Gotta love her!

I've seen Celine a few times, Bette a few times, and Cher….Bette is by far the best…mix of baudy humor, dancing, and great singing…nobody does is it as well!

I saw Bette live and she was amazing. She would make laugh until you cried and cry because it's so beautiful. What other performer can do that?! I haven't seen Cher so I wouldn't be able to compare the shows but from what I heard around town, Bette has the best show hands down.
