It's just another day in the life of Poppa Lohan.
Once again Mike is opening his trap in a new interview about Lindsay's recent Twitter attack on her father about those audio recordings he's released saying she's "grasping at straws and when she gets angry she lashes out."
Umm, can you blame her? You released personal conversations and what use to be private recordings of your family!
But the douchebag dad is defending his actions (of course) and only did it because he wants her to go to rehab.
Believe it or not there's other ways of getting your daughter into rehab that doesn't involve the media!
Unfortunately for us and Lindsay, Michael is so "upset" about his daughter calling him out, the media whore is planning to relea$e everything including texts of what a great father he is and all the other bullshit he's making up.
Michael does own up to Lindsay's accusations of him doing drugs: "I got my life back on track and I want her to get her life back on track."
And what is it exactly that you do, Michael? Constantly exposing your family isn't exactly what he would call "getting your life back on track".
What's not surprising is neither Lindsay or Dina have been in contact with him. And it'll probably stay that way, unless it involves a lawyer.
We really hope Lindsay's legal team is working over time to keep this deadbeat father from running to the media. The world would be better off if this guy had a gag order placed on him!

Honestly, I don't understand why people are supporting lindsay. She obviosuly has a problem and has for a long time. While this may not be the best way to get her attention I think he is hoping to prove she has a problem so that she has to go to rehab for her "image". I really don't think it's that bad… if she's not lying then she shouldn't have anything to hide. She plays her whole life drama out for the media anyway

He is doing something, if airing personal stuff is the way to get things done then so be it. Her mom is doing nothing but riding her coat tails and enjoying the party life. little sister is headed in the same directions. who lets their daughter do the stuff she is doing and wearing and while it is all rather tame now, you can look to lindsey to see what the future holds. and Lindsey is looking so old now, nothing good is coming from doing nothing. Michael is a friend of mine., who is deeply concerned over Daughter. Maybe he's just tired of the lies, he's tired of watching his daughter self-destruct. Dina doesn't seem too concerned, so someone has to be. Personal or not, he's reaching out to her, and trying to get her help. I wish there were more concerned parents out there. Because your a celebrity doesn't mean your resiliant.

The key words there being "I want". It's all about what he wants and apparently he sees nothing wrong with assuming it's okay to bully people into doing what you want them to do. That doesn't make you a good person OR a good parent. That makes you a selfish jerkoff. It's be nearly impossible to convince the public you care about your family when all you do is cause them grief and public embarrassment. She may or may not have a drug problem but she's an adult and knows where to get help if she wants it. He's not fooling me. He's only trying to find any excuse to talk to the press for attention and money. It's hard to believe a guy cares about his family when he has no relationship with them (is estranged from them - and we can see why!) and they don't seem to even like him. Apparently he can't even talk to them unless it's through the media.
i hate to agree…but he seems to make a hell of a lot more sense than lindsay does on any given day. it's not going to mend fences with regards to their father-daughter relationship, but he obviously just wants her to seek help! lindsay lohan is an epic fail. she has ALWAYS been a trainwreck! he probably figures this is the only way he's going to be able to reach her. it is kinda shitty for a parent to do something so drastic, especially publicly…but lets face it: nobody else in her life is going to help her anyway.

He's being a dick, but he has good intetions. And this is probably the only way to get through to Lindsay, though its still up to her to get better.. which probably won't happen because she's so upset about the whole thing. Oh well. Can't really say "Team Michael", but I'm on his side in this.

People don't deal well when backed into a corner and prodded with sticks. Why do you expect she should. He is not doing this for Lindsay, he is doing it for his own agenda. To clear his name…Who gives a shit about his name. If he really wanted to help her, he'd do everything he could to maintain trust.
