After seeing New Mexico player Elizabeth Lambert's violent behavior on the field, it has been announced by head soccer coach Kit Vela that Lambert has been suspended indefinitely!

Watch the video above to see Lambert's highly unsportsmanlike conduct against Brigham Young University during the semifinals of the Mountain West Conference Championship.

We're glad she's facing some consequences! You can't behave like that and get away with it!

      Ok honestly, I go to a school in the Mountain West Conference and BYU is one of the most unsportsmanlike team we play every year. Not only do they play dirty, it gets overlooked by the refs because they are one of the best in our conference. But they are NOT courteous players. While what the UNM player did was extreme but i can gaurantee that some of the BYU players pushed that girl past her limit.

      ok thing is it's soccer… it's a contact sport, that stuff happens and it should happen. yes, the hair pulling was a bit over the top, but Lambert is a very crafty player she knows how to play the game very well. Lambert was getting in the other player's head… obviously it kinda worked. soccer is a contact sport though and things happen (btw worst happens in other sports, for example look up Brandon Spike"s eye gouging video)

      but if are going to say that Lambert doesn't have sportsmanship, why don't you check out the whole game, i watched, the other play does stuff just as bad!

      p.s. when i was 12 and playing soccer i saw someone get their hair ripped out, and i've gotten a broken arm by being fouled… thing is i know it's part of the game, i'm not mad. chances are that BYU player is just fine
