What Happens AFTER 2012?
2012 is almost upon us!
The movie, that is, and if you are really concerned about the ending of the world, know there is hope.
2013 will exist and you may be around to see it - if you have a TV!
The makers of the new action thriller 2012, which will depict the supposed end of the world in 3 years time, have already come up with a sequel. However, instead of bringing the second installment to the big screen, it will be developed into an hour-long television drama.
Producer Howard Gordon is already working on the development for the 2013 TV series and is said to be in talks with ABC to pick the show up. The show will follow a group of people who somehow managed to survive the end of the world and are trying to live in a post apocalyptic setting.
We think this might be jumping the gun just a little bit - the movie hasn't even come out yet! How do they know we'll even like it?!

"Risk" Is Marching To The Big Screen
well that kinda takes the edge of 2012..
the movie 2012 looks terrible. All of the special effects look super cheesy and fake! Also, I think it would have bee smarter to release the movie in 2011, so it would maybe scare some more people. With a 2009 release, it will just be forgotten!
2013 is even worse…I'm assuming in the movie that john cusack and amanda peet are the survivors (could possibly be more, not sure I can see them signing on for the show)..but anyway, how are we really supposed to believe that goofy John Cusack was able to survive this over everyyyyyyoneee else…..I will not go see this movie, not even adding it to my netflix list!
I know two people that have seen it. Apart from the 2 hour 40 minute run time, they both looovvvve it. big time. love love.

It isn't based on Whitley Strieber's book……it went in the direction of big action special effect flick.
The 2012 thing is so ridiculously STUPID!!! The world is not going on end in 2012, only God knows when the world will end.
People should stop trying to act like they know everything… seriously!
But if the world ends in 2012, wouldn't there be no one around for 2013? I guess they threw logic out the window with this one.

never mind jumping the gun, doesnt this tell us the end of the movie, that the world doesn't end and john cusack ends up with the woman, whoever she is in the film

What an original idea.
it looks a stupid film, way over the top, and the fact there will be a load of survivors reduces the drama, plus the date 2013 doesnt have the significance of 2012
