Britney Continues To Piss Off The Aussies!
Brit Brit reportedly hid out in her Perth hotel room on Saturday after she angered numerous fans at her concert on Friday night for lip-synching!
What did they expect?????
This is Britney we're talking about!
All of Australia rallied against Spears upon landing in Perth last week, criticizing her for charging top $$$$ for a concert she would be lip-synching her way through, and the Aussies were still pissed at Brit after her performance.
One fan who ditched Spears' show early on in the night lamented to reporters, "I want my money back or I want her to sing properly… The ticket cost me $200 and she lip-synched the whole thing."
Fans were also outraged by the lack of large monitors for the cheap seats, complaining, "You couldn't tell if it was Britney or not."
Geesh! This sounds like much ado about nothing to us!

I LOVED seeing Britney even in concert! Who gives a shit if she lip syncs? The rest of the performace was amazing, with all the special effects and performers it was easisly one of the most entertaining things to watch. I totally got my moneys worth from that concert and I would gladly pay to go see it again if I have the opportunity.

The Aussie's have good taste. They know REAL MUSIC and support real artists. To stand on a stage and sing to a track and charge people $200 just to SEE you and not HEAR you goes to show just how much respect Brit has for her fans (which is zero!). If the public is content to be her meal ticket and not demand that she DO HER JOB, then they are the ones who are to blame for enabling her to rip them off. This is why the music industry is emploding: self centered 'alleged' singers who don't want to work. I'm thrilled for this review. Maybe… FINALLY these artists will start to get that WE are their employers, and we demand they do their jobs and not just 'phone it in' (or in the case of Brit here, 'lip sync it in…').

I'm Australian, and only a handful of Aussies had something to say about it so we shouldnt all be categorized.
In saying that however, we attend concerts to hear performers sing live, for people who were seated abit further back, not only could they not see her, but they could just hear her soundtrack playing which i think is hilarious.
Britneys tickets are priced wayyyyy to high for someone whos shaking her bum and pumping her cd in the background. I paid 180 for Beyonce and I was front row, she was amazing and was singing live while flying over the audience and dancing/performing. We know Britneys voice probably isnt as strong as Beyonce, but for someone who markets her image as a singer/performer and releases "music" should have the tact to sing live.
Oh and btw, the tickets didnt say shes lip syncing, and our Minister for Fair Trading has said its her right to lip sync if she wants, but its the ministers job to make sure people know what their paying for upfront. So from now on their pushing for disclaimers on promo posters and tickets indicating wether the performance will be live.

I don't blame them and I wish citizens in our country would stand up a little bit to this type of fraud. $200 to watch an "artist" jump around on a stage wearing a costume somebody designed; moving in a way somebody else choreographed; on a stage somebody else designed and built; to music somebody else wrote and that others are playing; and LYPSYNCHING to a song somebody else wrote or co-wrote (as if any fool would need help coming up with a word to rhyme with "zone" or "time"). These people are snake oil salesmen and frauds and I applaud Australia for calling them out.

Now that is pathetic! But if you want to see a real concert people should go to see entertainers that can really sing. Anyone who dances around doing all sorts of foolishness is making up for their lack of singing ability. It's really sad when someone old enough to be your grandmother is more of an entertainer than you. I saw Tina Turner in concert earlier this year and she fuckin ROCKED! She sang, and danced her ass off for over two hours. The only person out there even close to the energy of Tina is Beyonce. Next time pick your concerts more carefully, or risk the chance of being robbed again!!!

That was not the issue at hand, people were complaining of her lack of enthusiasm and the fact there were no screens to see her. I have been to MANY concerts and there is always large screens at these venues to cater for everyone in the venue! She was not shown on any of these screens, only her back up dancers etc!
Personally I think its going to be a GREAT concert and I cant wait for Friday's performance! And i think u all need to lay off us Aussies! Clearly our media outlets and Perez have blown this case WAY out of proportion!!!!
