Glambert: More Beyonce, Less Daughtry

Don't compare Adam Lambert to any of the other Idol's David Cook or Chris Daughtry.
Hell no! They are WAY too tame for our Glambert!
If you are looking to make a comparison, keep it to his tastes, like Beyonce!
Glambert knows that people have somewhat mixed views of how he is managing his image, but he insists he is no different than the fierce diva in how he works it out:
"People look at me and immediately say, 'Oh, he's doing the musical-theater thing,' " he explained. "But if you look at most female pop stars right now, how are they any less theater? Beyoncé is doing 'Single Ladies' with two girls in character shoes and leotards, doing [Bob] Fosse choreography from 'Sweet Charity' and 'West Side Story.' "
Still, though he channels his inner Beowulf for his style, his music is still all about the rock:
"The dress-up supports that; the fantasy element supports it. People want to talk about whether I have rock cred, whether I'm selling out, the theatricality, the gay stuff. … Chill out! And just enjoy yourself."

Now, if only enough people were enjoying themselves to get your single up in the charts!

Adams single isnt selling because it is no where to be found on the radio. I called the biggest radio station where I live in Indianapolis and they have never even heard about it. Adams people need to do a better job on getting it on the radio. Another reason his single probably isnt selling well is because everyone is waiting for the album, such as myself. Didnt a shit ton of people pre-order it already, they probably arent going to buy the single because they are waiting for the album they already purchased. You rock Adam, youre going to do just fine, you already have. JUST GET IT ON THE RADIO!
I think the reason that it is not selling on itunes that he released it on his website and all his biggest fans got it that way instead of on itunes, however i just wish they would get it on the radio. rock on adam! i am a fan either way..

I visit your website for the "news", not for your thoughts on music. Your musical taste is very one-sided and mostly applies to your sexual orientation and female viewers. You are only supporting this guy in hopes to be his "friend".
It is fine to introduce upcoming and struggling artists but you need diversity in your musical tastes as well.

honestly the reason that its not selling is that it wasnt placed on the new release portion of itunes like rhiannas was. I knew he had a single but i didn't think it had hit Itunes until i read your post about the single not selling well. The moment i read it i went and purchased it.

once he performs at the AMA's and gets more publicity for the song it'll make it to the top. most ppl bought his whole his album on amazon, which is already on the top, so they might not care to buy individual songs if they've already bought the album.

Rca hasn't started it's promo of it yet-he should get iTunes banners this week. iTunes was also frozen and continues to keep freezing ever since their database upgrade. He's doing remarkably well everywhere else. Most of his hardcore fans had already bought the single off of his official website before it went on iTunes and the non AI fans don't even know about it yet!!!

Itunes isn't showcasing the great For Your Entertainment like they should be. It's so great, Adam's voice - as always - sounds fantastic and the song is so good. It should be number 1.

Musical theatre is a tough, live and more than honorable enough training ground, so he should just be effing proud of it. Most of the so called hit makers are popped out like shaped cookie dough along with the pre-shaped images. Incorporating the senses visually can never be a bad idea when the chops are there to back it up. Make no mistake, though, to be truly great, it's always about the vocals and special tunes if he wants any longevity.
