Jon Gosselin Is A Hazard To His Children! (Duh!)

Despite pointing out the blatantly obvious reasons why Jon Gosselin is a terrible role model for his children, The U.S Consumer Product Safety Commission is pointing the naughty finger at the dad of eight for having his little ones on his ATV.
Jon has been frequently photographed allowing his sextuplets to ride in his lap on his big boy toy and the folks at the CPSC are calling him out on it. They insist that it is unsafe for any two people to be riding an ATV at the same time and it is especially dangerous for any person under the age of six. (The sextuplets are just five.)
The most frightening information offered by the Commission, and we hope Jon is listening, is that: "Children are involved in about one-third of all ATV-related deaths and hospital emergency room injuries."
So while you might think you are God's gift and can do no wrong, you should take that into consideration the next you feel like a joy ride with your kids.
Oh, and maybe get them a HELMET as well!

I grew up in the south. This is no big deal. You could ride on anything as soon as you were old enough to hold on. We sat in our parents laps and "drove" down back roads as well. He is obviously not going full speed here. You are so outta touch with reality it's not funny anymore.

THat's ridiculous. I doubt he was driving that thing very fast.
1. I love ATVs, lots of fun.. no debating that
2. Children should be taught how to ride safely with safety pads and a helmet, never stacked on someone's lap
3. My 17 year old cousin died in 2007 while wearing his helmet and protective gear he lost control of his ATV slammed into a tree and died a day later…. ATVs, like cars are deadly weapons when not treated with respect.
ya the helmets a good idea, don't get me wrong don't like him but how many people have fun with their kids on bikes all the time and are careful….you don't see the CPS coming out to do anything to them!! Things are getting out of hand with these people w/ kids on TV!!
I had a young cousin that was killed in an ATV accident. No matter how slow you are ANYTHING can happen. They should at least be wearing helmets if he chooses to take them out on rides.
That is horrible he is doing that. I work at a level 1 trauma hospital and see so many kids come in from ATV accidents. Many of them have extensive brain injuries, paraplegia, or even die. If you're going to be lax enough to put your child on an ATV, then at least give them a freakin' helmet. Is he that dense or just completely doesn't care about safety?? He must not mind losing them in a custody case….famewhoring idiot

I'm no fan of Jon's, but this is just a case of extemism.
Yes, people can die from driving to fast on ATVs and being reckless, but I seriously doubt that he drives recklessly w/ his small children on the ATV.
They make ATVs for children that have remote control stops for parents and parents can set the highest speed.
Sounds like some people need to go out and have a little fun-you can't live your life wrapped in bubble wrap.
Kate is going to take him to the cleaners in divorce court. It's not even going to be funny or fair, yet some how I will enjoy it. Perhaps this is why I decided to be a divorce attourney. Thank God I'm not Jon or Kate's! They are both headed towards a long lengthy ugly battle.

OMG .. who fucking cares ??!!!?? We rode on them all the time when we were children (we had helmets on, but we were riding hard core through the forests). Until I was 8, I had to double ride as I was too small to ride one by myself. If this was just an average family picture of one of your friends (not that you have any) you wouldn't be bitching about it.

My dad wold do things like this with us kids when I was their age. People do things like this with their kids all the time because kids enjoy it. Sure, no one thinks about the consequences if something were to happen but i'm sure he was being extra careful. And let me remind YOU what you said about the fire marshals that were trying to keep your dumb ass safe!
