Michael Lohan Denies Getting Paid For Releasing Tapes
We don't believe THAT for a second.
Michael Lohan has taken to his Twitter to defend his recent and despicable actions in releasing private messages and conversations between he and his daughter, Lindsay Lohan, ex-wife Dina Lohan and Lindsay's former assistant/manager, Jenni Muro.
He must be feeling the backlash from everyone as he's trying to paint himself as the good guy in the situation.
He Tweets:
"ALL of my recordings were taped in NY - where it's completely legal to record phone conversations. There will be more to come!"

Oh I would do this in a heartbeat if it got my child the help she needed. Releasing tapes that contradict what others are stating to prove he isn't lying doesn't make him a bad father. Could he be doing this a different way? I'm sure. Is he alienating himself from his daughter even more, Yup. But that doesn't mean he's a bad father, or doesn't love his daughter. You would be surprised at the shit a parent would do to help their child. Even if it meant publicly embarrassing them even more.
Lindsay doesn't need Michael's help to humiliate her, she does that all on her own.

I understand how Michael Lohan is looked down upon here, but he's just desperately trying to help Lindsay. He's trying to get through to his daughter any way he can, and this seems to be the only way to actually get her attention. I don't think he is doing this for selfish reasons at all. Hopefully Lindsay will wake up and realize what's going on and someday actually thank her father for his extreme attempts at getting her into rehab. SHES OUT OF CONTROL!!
