The Jonas Bros Will $tay On Disney

Good news for the Jonas Brothers. The heads at Disney Channel have decided to keep their show, Jonas, around for another season.
The kids' cable network has ordered a full season to begin taping in February and air mid next year.
Disney's Worldwide entertainment president Gary Marsh says of the JoBros, "These guys are the superstars of their generation. We had the opportunity to extend our relationship with them, which we did."
But that's not it for the JoBros.
Disney Channel has also picked up for a second season their mini reality series, Jonas Brothers: Living the Dream.
And filming for that is already underway with a premiere set for early next year.
Interesting to note, though: Michael Curtis and Roger S.H. Schulman, the executive producers who launched Jonas, have parted ways with the show and have now been replaced with showrunner Lester Lewis and director Paul Hoen.
Creative differences?

Morrissey's Storms Off: The Video!

Yay!
Jobros, you're so gay when you fell outta the gay tree, you hit every gay branch on the way down. then you landed on a gay man. then you did him.
Well I don't think it is creative differences, but rather more because the word "crap" doesn't even start to describe how awful the show is.
superstar my ass. This show sucks more than anything else.
paul hoen is amazing
really who else would have them?
The show is SO horrible!!! Every actor literally has the personality of a brick wall. In fact, its SO bad i think Disney does it on purpose to see if tweeny girls will still watch it for the Jonas Brothers.
Of course their show will be back. They make Disney tons of $$$
Michael and Roger created the show as well.
Re: Eris – Disney executives are to blame- not the show runners. They try to make a good show but it's a battle. just look up the credits of the creators- one wrote Shrek and one ran Friends- talented guys.
Dammit
Are these three legal yet?
"Superstars"?!?! I'd love to know what Gary Marsh was smoking when he said that.
Yay.
Interesting. One more year of the Disney machine for sure.
It doesn't feel ideal, but it's probably the best decision. They don't fit in at MTV & stuff, so they're not quite as ripe for the mainstream as they tried to push them to be, so this seems like a safe enough choice.
They are definitely superstars…how many other bands under 5 years old can pack arenas, do world tours and sell platinum albums. A small handful, only and they are one of them.
Haters hate away, but don't deny facts, geez.
OMJ YESS! SO HAPPY RIGHT NOW
Re: Moimeme –
because they have sold that much, doesn't mean that they are actually good. Britney sells that much and does she know how to sing live properly? Actually you and others should consider that the our future generations are becoming stupidier and more gullable by the minute since they seem or are brainwashed to like such music/acting or the lack of it.
Re: mamapug –
Yep their credits are good, but I pity them for going this low in doing a disney channel show with a bunch of talentless brothers. They maybe good but they cannot do miracles, if what they have to handle isn't professional enough unlike in the cases of shrek and friends.
Maybe Curis and Schulman came to their senses and realized that the Jonas Brothers suck?
scooped by the hollywood reporter
THE THREE STOOOPIDS ARE OLD FOR THE STUPID KIND OF SHOW THEY HAVE.
These comments reek of jealousy. I love me some Jonas.
Shit.
Re: Eris – People like you annoy me. Musical taste is subjective so why do people feel like they can decide what kind of music is good or not? Eveyone has their particular preference so just leave them to it. The fact is, people like them, they're popular, tehy're excellent performers, okay actors, and they know how to make music that people want to hear(whether its teens or adults, that doesn't matter) and thats that. Stop hating on these boys' success, it gets you nowhere while they are making their millions.
Re: Dark Phoenix – 2 of them are legal. Kevin is 22, Joe is 20…but little Nicky is only 17.
YES!! I LOVE THIS SHOW! IT IS SO FUNNY, I LAUGH ALL THE TIME AND IT IS THE ONLY SHOW I WATCH ON DISNEY.
AND LOOKING AT THE MIDDLE BRO (JOE) MAKES IT EVEN BETTER. NOT ONLY IS THE WRITING REALLY CUTE AND THE BOY'S DELIVERY AND COMEDIC TIMING GOOD, BUT JOE IS AN ADORABLE GORGEOUS GUY - LOVE ME SOME EYE CANDY.
Re: Eris –
Re: Eris –
WHO MADE YOU GOD? THEY ARE NOT TALENTLESS. I'VE TAKEN MY KIDS TO THEIR CONCERTS OVER THE PAST TWO YEARS, AND THEIR MUSIC AND SHOW IS AWESOME. AND I WATCH THE SHOW WITH MY 16-YEAR OLD DAUGHTER AND WE BOTH LOVE IT. FUNNY AND VERY CUTE BOYS WHO ARE TALENTED. WE WATCH CNN AND HEALTH CARE DEBATES, AND ALL THE DARN REALITY SHOWS AND THEN WE LIKE SOME GOOD OLD FASHION FUNNY JOKES AND LAUGHS ON JONAS.
DON'T TRY TO GET ON YOUR HIGH HORSE AND GO ALL 'ARTISTIC' AND PEOPLE WILL BUY ANYTHING CRAP SISTER - BECAUSE YOU'RE JUST FULL OF BALONEY.
Not gonna lie, that show is just a humiliation, Sonny W/ a chance is really really bad but this show is the worst,
WOWP is the only NOT stupid DC show actually the best DC show I would say.
HM is ok to watch!.
all of you people who called them gay congrats. your so original. guess what?! theyre not. and if they were, who cares? like why do you even take the time to comment this if you have negative comments. i dont understand why you need to thrive on dissing the jonas brothers. maybe because theyre rich and successful and they do have fans. and theyre not talentless, they can play a lot of different instruments extremely well, theyre voices are amaizng, and they write good music. alright maybe you dont like them, get over yourself.
@ those you replied to me; the truth hurts I know, but for me "hollywood" has become faker by the minute, the old glory days of real actors and singers have seem to long gone now. I am not saying you shouldn't watch whatever the Jonas do, but this is reality there are probably more talented folk out there who didn't get their opportunity to showcasing their talent which is a pity, because today's generation of "tweens" seems to be clearly brainwashed, a good example is how those televoting awards for children go, the singers/actors/movies who actually deserve the award don't get it because of the huge fanatism todays tweens have on a few selected, including the Jo Bros. As you are entitled to your opiniion I am entitled to mine, end of story.
Re: Eris –
The fact that there are talented acts out there who haven't been "discovered" doesn't take away from JB's talent. As someone else said, musical taste is subjective–and more to the point of this article, taste in television is subjective. I think that this show is adorable, when I'm feeling kind of overwhelmed with school, life, etc. Jonas is always guaranteed to put a smile on my face. I can't say that about many other shows produced by Hollywood. Most other shows on television feature jaded and over dramatized story lines. I appreciate Jonas because it's lighthearted feel is different from all the other crap.
Anyway so excited for the new season!!
