Blaming Leno!
They're still not feeling the new time slot for Jay Leno!
Bob Prather, the COO of Gray Television, isn't impressed with NBC's decision to move Jay Leno to the 10 p.m. slot as Gray's 10 NBC affiliates are losing revenue and ratings for their late-night news broadcasts. Gray has smaller to mid-size NBC affiliates in cities like Omaha, Madison and South Bend.
Prather says:
"The Leno experiment is not working so far. I'm sure they'll stick with it longer than they need to … their ego won't let them probably get rid of it soon enough. They need some programming pizzazz, which they don't have right now."
Gray's CEO Hilton Howell is slightly more optimistic believing that ratings will perk up when summer rolls around and most programs are in re-runs while Leno will be fresh.
But summer is MONTHS away!

Jay should have just kept doing the Tonight Show! Conan is HORRIBLE!!!!!!!!
This whole idea was stupid anyways. They should have waited a couple of hears after he left the tonight show and Conans low raitings would be the norm, THEN there would have been a hunger for Jay to come back and it would have exciting to come back.
For him to do a show immediately after leaving Tonight Show is weird and confusing and smacks of big egos.
He should have just stayed on the tonight show, why leave to do the same thing on a different time slot?

Those BITCHING about Leno at 10PM are the producers who can't get their TV pilots on the air. Leno is making good money for NBC at 10PM. That is a FACT!!
Leno was never fresh. He is so uncomfortable and unfunny to watch. This was the worst decision in tv history. Even worst then Katie Couric to the evening news. They would be better off pulling him and rerunning eisodes of there tv series till they can come come up with new show.

I have always liked the Leno show and I like Jay's new show and time slot better than the old. Even though I like him personally, Conan's show sucks and always has. Hope NBC doesn't throw the baby out with the bathwater with Jay. I do think they should shitcan the race track thing, tho (BO-RING!)
I love Jay. I love his jokes, his sense of humor, and his taste in cars and bikes.
The hair, however, needs a lawnmower, and the body could use about 180 walks.
I want to see him around for years to come.
Leno's ratings suck because he sucks. It doesn't take rocket science.
Jay should just come out of the closet already before Jimmy Fallon does and takes away that logistical trump card. Big Gay Jay.

NBC was too cheap to develop a new drama to replace ER. They figured as expensive as he is, Leno is cheaper to air every night so they would save money. I tried to watch it twice. Then he brought Rush (Piggy) Limbaugh on. That was it for me. No more Leno. He can take his millions and fade. I do not care one bit. Never liked him. I like Letterman.
last nite I watched Lopez's show and It was much much more fun. A lot of energy and fun crazy stuff…. Leno should pump up that show with some fun games or something really fun and just aired Monday thru Thurday. NBC should leave fridays to watch some good movie or so !
Leno will be bacl as soon as CARROT TOP sells his house in LA, and finds a job on CABLe selling vacums, or knifes or some other shit in the middle of the night.
The fans will come around……….

forcing Leno out of the Tonite Show was the dumbest programming move since New Coke. Conan is the worst interviewer on late night television and not very funny, so putting him in that hot seat was an idiotic decision that none of them will cop to.
It's not even winter yet. Not all of the country live in the West! Spring is months away-not summer!

I agree Leno sucks and always has. He was supposed to RETIRE and NBC chose Conan as his successor. Conan never had a chance when NBC made the insane decision to put Leno back on at 10. WTF?! Does Leno run the network? Love him or hate him, the only person I feel bad for in this debacle is Conan. He got royally screwed and I hope NBC loses A HUGE of money over the entire thing. I think they have monkeys running their network.
Conan is just a grown up kid- not funny at all. His humour is incredibly childish plus he's not attractive.

Leno's stand up act outside NBC is funny. He is bland during The Tonight Show and even blander at 10pm. I watched his first week at 10pm. Now, I watch the ABC or NBC shows at 10 unless he has a guest that I want to see.
leno isn't working because LENO ISN'T FUNNY OR INTERESTING. god, take the ol horse to the glue factory already.
