Eastwick Is Getting Dropped

Uh-oh! Looks like Rebecca Romijn might be spending more time with her babydaddy and twin bundles!

It was announced this morning that ABC won't be ordering anymore episodes of the her show, The Witches of Eastwick, which is pretty much a guaranteed swift kick to the curb for the series.

To be fair, the show isn't pulling in terrible numbers, but with other hits like Modern Family and Cougar Town exploding on the network, we gather there isn't much room for a mediocre show.

So unless they can work some serious magic in their final weeks, these witches ain't coming back!

      It was a decent show but thats fine with me now that Matt Dallas' character Chad was killed off. He was the only reason I bothered watching in the first place.

      Not surprised. Stupid idea for a TV show that was tried about 15 years ago after the movie came out. Guess Rebecca will try to get back on "Ugly Betty" before that gets cancelled too. By the way, I can NOT believe that "Cougartown" is doing well. Don't know anyone who is watching that crap either.

      The show is 4th out of 4 in total viewers and barely beats Jay Leno in the 18-49 demo.
      The show averages 4.5 million viewers.
      You are such an ill-informed tool.

      It's called "eastwick" not "The witches of Eastwick" you dumb, uninformed queen. It was based on "The witches of eastwick" the movie which was based on the novel by John Updike. But you probably don't read.

      This is actually a really good show… and it wasnt getting terrible ratings. The show was barely able to begin. ABC should really reconsider, maybe if they get enough people to watch during the remaining episodes they will bring it back!
