Holly Madison On The New Girls Next Door: Not A Fan!

Much like us, Holly Madison is not impressed with Hugh Hefner's new girlfriends Crystal Harris and the Shannon twins. In fact, Holly thinks they're copying what she did on the show with Kendra Wilkinson and Bridget Marquardt.
She says:
“I had a great time with Hef and the girls when they came to see ‘Peepshow’ and hang out in Vegas. I don't watch the other episodes though, because it kind of makes me mad. The girls need to focus on what makes them unique and not doing the same things Bridget, Kendra and I have already done on the show.
"Even camping in the backyard was an idea I had for an episode that we never got around to shooting. And guess what they just showed? The girls camping in the backyard. I don't want to look behind, I want to look forward.”
But the public doesn't seem to care too much as the show is doing pretty well on E! with the new gals.
But Holly has plenty of other things going on right now, notably starring in Peep Show in Las Vegas:
“The ‘toplessness’ is worked into the show very tastefully and I was very controlling about when and how long I would be topless. Not because I am shy about nudity at all, but because I feel there is an effective way to do a burlesque show and then there is a sloppy way. I'm very inspired by Dita Von Teese and people who do it really well.
"Hef really liked the show, but I knew he would. He loves burlesque and the girls in the show are really beautiful. There are contemporary pop songs in the show, but a lot of old school style, too. The Red Riding Hood number reminds me so much of the sexy Red Riding hood Tex Avery cartoons from the 40's that Hef loves.”
Sounds like someone might still have some feelings for Hef? And honey, you're cute and all, but you don't even compare to Dita!
Holly remains focused on her career as an entertainer though, kinda bashing what got her here in the first place - reality television:
“The biggest challenge I have had to face is sticking by who I am and what I want to do. There have been a lot of people trying to push me in different directions, but I had to stay true to my vision of what I wanted to do and how I wanted to brand myself as an entertainer. I can't be another LA reality show girl. There are too many people doing the same thing in that city.”
We do think Vegas suits you, Hols! You're both all about the SEKS!

Crystal is okay but the twins come off a bit annoying, as if they are trying to be something they are not. With that being said, the new girls do not compare to the original girls. Kendra, Bridgett, and Holly all had unique personalities which attracted people to the show.
The 3 new girls aint got nothing on Kendra. She kept me glued to the show, she's a silly girl.
I generally hate her clothes… but that dress is pretty cute.

Holly is one of a kind… Come on, Crystal is ALREADY posing in the magazine and the twins ALREADY have a movie gig??? PLEASE - crystal has the holly soft voice and all that is left is for her to call him PUFFIN - this season is viewed just for the T & A NOT for the new girls! HEF & HOLLY BELONG TOGETHER. she just needed a little space and to have a REAL career on her own. WAKE UP HEF!!!

She's way hotter than Dita imo. No knocks on Dita. Met her saw a her show. She's cool. Liked how she does her shows very tastefully which was what Holly was referring to.

I absolutely LOVE Holly! She is so charming, witty, and intelligent. While her past isn't picture of innocence/class- I commend her on turning it into a positive thing. Bridget was also absolutely charming and sweet. While Kendra wasn't exactly "charming" she definitely had such a warm, kind, heart! As for the new girls- Karissa and Kristina will never be attractive, intelligent, or charming. They are low rent trash with nothing to offer the world. If "fame" is their goal, it just isn't going to happen.

Holly didn't even remotely compare herself to Dita…she just alluded to Dita as an inspiration. Here is a bit of advice…give us objective celebrity reporting…and leave it at that. This is the first time I can actually agree with everything she says. Although she's doing burlesque, it sounds like she's trying to make her life better and is actually happy. It's true, the new "girls next door" suck and Kendra, Bridget and Holly were likable. They were sweet and not afraid to say what's on their minds.

Hmm yeah. I don't watch TGND any more now that Bridget Holly and Kendra aren't there. I didn't like the new girls from the start. The twins especially had totally obnoxious conceited and bitchy attitudes which I thought were really unwarranted for chicks that I thought were nothing special really. Playboy's standards just keep getting lower and lower

I loved the Original girls next door. I always watched that show. I haven't even seen 1 episode with the new girls. I don't like them. Kendra, Bridgett and Holly are much more prettier than those new girls.
Hollin Sue Cullen (her real name) is a perfect match for Las Vegas because they're both so over the top fake and phony. All flash, no substance whatsoever. No talent either, just fake boobs, fake hair and a lot of makeup to hide all the plastic surgery.

I used to be a HUGE fan of the original 3 "girls next door… But all I can say now is Holly's definitely jealous cause she only paved the way for the 3 new and so much more improved Girls Next Door! The show is definitely SO MUCH BETTER now and I am hugely addicted now more than ever! Holly needs to get over herself and Hef obviously looks happier than ever before!
