Ian McKellen Is Going To Bust Your Windows!
When you are BFFs with the Queen of England, you know your opinion holds some weight!
Sir Ian McKellen has always been a supporter of the fight for gay marriage. We feel honored to have someone so influential behind our cause.
However, we can't help but want to ask Ian to simmer down just a tad, as some of his suggestions on how to protest were a bit much.
In a recent interview, Ian talks about the ways people can help the cause.
He says:
"We're . . . discovering who the enemy are, and I do think we do have an enemy. It means that everyone's got to go on fighting. And in what way you fight, well, it depends who you are . . . You can write a letter, you can talk about it to your congressperson . . . you can talk to people in bars . . . Or you can go on marches, or you can go and break windows."
The latter, we feel, won't really do that much good, but the rest of his suggestions we implore you to try!

Oh and one other thing you maybe shouldn't do: recruit Mario/Perez to help promote your cause since he is widely held in contempt by both hetero and homosexual communities due to his behavior. That's probably why he was asked not to attend the gay rights march in Washington. Plus there was that public rebuke he received from GLAAD in response to his use of homophobic language, his tendency to out gays against their will or his publishing of those private pics of Dustin Lance Black taking it in the hoop…
Sirena McKellen has always been a silly old queen who likes to think she's radical. We've been putting up with her dotty rants here in the UK for years. Sorry that those in the colonies now have to endure them too.
He's also he leader for mutant rights. Support the cause! lol.
The breaking windows part ….. of course that's a valid option. Everyone has their way of protesting whatever cause, and of course, we all know, the squeakiest (or noisiest) part gets the lube.

Ian came up through the sixties when people who truly felt strongly about their beliefs and that it was important walked the walk.

Really? First of all, given his status as an openly gay man, it would not make much sense for Ian McKellen not to support gay marriage. Secondly, the way that's phrased it makes it seem like Perez was the first person to come up with the idea. It's just as much his cause as Perez'. He's not just now joining the group. It's really annoying when Perez acts like, and no offense at all meant here, the gay Ghandi.
