The She Wolf Reveals Her New Dreads

Monday night, Shakira attended the Rolling Stone cover and release party for her new album at the The Bowery Hotel in NYC and decided to have the dreads make a comeback.

We'd like this look better when she had black hair. Blonde, not such much.

What do U think?

i really really like it! i would luv to have my hair like that. But i'm scared. what happens if a month goes by and i want my regular hair back. How do you do it. does it comb out. i always heard you'll have to shave your head.

Those are not dreads - that's just her hair in a bunch of twists. You can do it yourself with a rat tail comb and a jar of Sebastion Molding Mud. I did it all the time in the 90's. Wash your hair, use a little detangler and it comes right out.

Just because she CAN do it, which it doesn't even resemble "real" dreads–it just looks like strands matted together, doesn't mean she SHOULD do it. It looks like she's trying to hard, when it's just doesn't mesh with her.
