Eastwick Execs Are P.O.'ed!
The producers of ABC's freshly cancelled Eastwick are crushed the network didn't decide to wait it out!
"We have such an amazing group of writers and actors," cried Eastwick's executive producer, Maggie Friedman. "None of us can believe this is really happening."
Friedman went on to say ABC gave them the axe before they could "wrap things up in a bow" as far as the storyline goes, which is upsetting both the cast and crew.
She continued: "The magic was getting crazy, the storylines were getting really exciting and sexy and dangerous… I [just] wish we could’ve given the fans — and ourselves — real closure."
Too bad!
For all four of you that watch the show, never fear, ABC is planning on running the already-completed episodes.

I loved this show. I never saw the original but the show immediately sucked me in. I guess it just never found their audience.

I am also one of the 4 that watches this show and I can tell you it actually did have a large fan base (clearly not large enough) but I really think they needed to give this one a little more time. networks are too eager to cancel shows nowadays.
this bums me out! i loved that show. cute, easy and great characters. It was tv Lite and i loved it. Damn networks.

well looky here…more than 4 of us. I loved this show. It was so different from all the other stuff on tv. I wish ABC would change their mind. Hopefully maybe another network will pick it up. Keeping my fingers crossed.
Actually the rating's haven't been all that bad and it's been beating out the Jay Leno show every week. This is a stupid choice on ABC"S part. I loved this show!
I can't believe they cancel the show!! I mean I Love it!!! Their Cast is Great, and I Love the characters!! I can't believe it!! What are they doing??? why don't they give it sometime!!! damm it!!
This show sounded stupid from the get go. I like Lindsay price but she is poison to any show she's on. Stupid show!
i'm pissed they canceled the show! it was AWESOME. i do believe that networks are way too eager to cancel shows nowadays. i really hope they put it in a different time slot OR another network picks it up! i loveeddd the show. LOVED IT. i hope someone from another network will read these comments and decide to pick it up! that would make me so happy.

Well….this is CraZy!!! I really enjoyed this show - there is a HUGE fanbase here in Northwest Georgia I can say that….and it's ten million times better than Ugly Betty - it's a shame - Wednesday was our favorite TV nite
i loved the show…and really perez "all 4 of you" just cause you dont have taste in anything doesnt mean no one else does.
i hope someone else ends up picking the show up.

I love this show, it was fresh and adventurous! It would be a good sunday night show like a lead in to Desperate

omg i cant beleive they cancelled eastwick! its like on of my favorite new shows! its just starting to get really good too!! seriously what is the world coming to all pple ever want to watch are fake reality shows what ever happened to a good tv show? hopefully another network will pick it up or abc will come to its senses…. try it at an earlier time maybe seriously this just ruined my day
well they have to air the rest of the episodes right? so maybe if we can get everyone we know to put eastwick on it will boost the ratings

This really was a dumbell move for ABC again! I campaigned last year when they cancelled Samantha Who? and I campaigned in 199? when they killed My So Called Life. This is it. I'm cancelling my knowledge that the ABC network exists. I'm deleting their number and e-mail. They have broken my heart too many times. Here's to Sara Rue finding a new great role soon.
They should be pissed. I LOVED this show!!!! Judging by the responses, there were a lot of people who loved it as well. It was the only new show on the line up that I am still watching. The other shows are just too over the top in the over acting department.

I loved cashmere mafia, PUSHING DAISIES!, samantha who? and NOW eastwick? WTF people? Seriously!? Is "reality" television what we have lowered ourselves to? I hate ABC and they will soon fail if they keep on giving deserving shows the ax!
And another one bites the fucking dust. TV Execs are assholes.

I loooooved this show and I am pissed that Networks love to hook people on a show then freakin cancel them not caring what the fans think!. They did it with Moonlight and a few others I thought were hot. They better not do it with Vampire Diaries or I will have a fit!
Why!? Why do they keep canceling decent shows and keeping crap reality shows!? I want some escapism and real actors, not reality shows that are neither escapism nor reality. I resent every single 'reality' star out there who is taking work away from legitimate actors. And, even the fact that they seek out reality shows as an 'in' to real acting is hideous. This is a good show. Idjits.

Noooooooooooooooo!!!! WTF. Seriously??? I think it had more to do with $$$ (actors salaries). This is unfortunate, I don't like many shows and this was quickly becoming one of my favorites.

I caught Eastwick by accident and I enjoyed every frame and fell in love with the characters. I am truly disappointed that it wasn't given a full season.
I don't wish ABC well. I hope that by some miracle it will get seen for the masterpiece it could have been. Blessed Be Cast n Crew
im also 1 of the 4 that watch this show. I LOVE IT!!! the actresses are great and seem to really work well together? VERY disappointed this was cancelled! so what, now we get another cheesy reality show to replace it?? give it another season at least!!!

I actually liked this show. I was just getting into the charactors and the storey line
not to be mean cuz i LOVE some rebecca but every show with lindsay price always get cancelled. look at the track record.
