This would be TERRIBLE!
Apparently John Travolta is up for starring in a remake of Butch Cassidy and The Sundance Kid alongside Scientology buddy Tom Cruise!
Travolta says:
"Someone came up with a good idea - it was a remake of Butch Cassidy and The Sundance Kid - and there was a rumor that we were gonna do that, and I said to Tom, 'It's not a terrible rumor, it's not a bad idea.'"
But it IS a bad idea! A shiteous one! To see those two in Paul Newman's and Robert Redford's legendary roles would be a real travesty.
Paul is probably rolling over in his grave!

The ONLY duo that may be able to pull that one off are George Clooney and Brad Pitt. But I would leave this classic untouched!

Who Knows. They've both shown a knack for comedy. John consistently nailed his timing as Vinnie on Kotter, and Cruise struck me really darkly funny as Les Grossman in Tropic Thunder.
