Keith Lewis Thinks Carrie Prejean Needs Psychological Help!
After displaying HOrrific and "inappropriate" behavior during her interview with Larry King, executive director of the Miss California organization Keith Lewis issued the following statement about Carrie Prejean:
“The public is finally getting a glimpse of the real Carrie Prejean who lives in her own delusional world. The childish behavior, her negative attitude, the sarcasm and condescending tone, the disrespect and continual lying she is demonstrating now is only a fraction of what we endured during her reign and after. Anyone who buys her book is supporting a woman who is actually the opposite of everything she claims to be. I sincerely hope she is able to get the psychological help I believe she has shown to clearly need.”

As someone who does live with a legitimate psych diagnosis and who has studied psychology, I do not think that Carrie Prejean has any legitimate psych issues. I think she is merely a spoiled brat who believes herself to be somehow superior to other people. But whatever the case, this is no excuse for the writers of this site to direct hateful statements towards people who are unfortunate enough to have psychiatric diagnoses. We did not choose this path. I am sure my words will fall on deaf ears, so to speak. Guess it's proof that I really am crazy that I have to try to stop the hate when it is a losing battle.

Perez had NOTHING to do with Carrie's failures to meet the requirements of her California contract.
Perez had NOTHING to do with her racy photos "that the wind blowing allowed the photographer to show her breasts"
Perez had NOTHING to do with her breaking her contract's "morals clauses".

Some markers include, among other things, (i) a grandiose sense of self (watch her speech at the Voter Values Summit, available on youtube, where she claims that she was chosen by God to receive that infamous question); and (ii) shows arrogant, haughty behavior and attitudes (see her recent Larry King appearance). I feel sorry for Mr. Lewis and the other employees at the Miss CA pageant, it truly must have been a nightmare working with such a person. I also feel sorry for her - such a disorder may be caused by, among other things, unpredictable and unreliable parenting and severe emotional abuse in childhood (after all, her parents divorced when she was one and then spent the next 10 years in a nasty custody battle — and her mother has been married multiple times).
