Brandy Settles With Last Victim From Car Crash

Singer Brandy has settled with the last plaintiff from the December 2006 car crash she caused, leaving a woman dead. She has already settled with the woman's two children for $300,000 each, as well as another injured driver back in July.
The terms of latest settlement with the husband of the killed driver have not been revealed.
Sad, sad.

Oh please, the kids and the husband were just trying to get as much money as possible from her. He rejected a 1.2 million settlement last year, he's not grieving, he's just greedy.
What is sad is that if Brandy was a nobody she wouldn't have had to deal with all these lawsuits. The poor girl had an ACCIDENT. She didn't cause the accident. It happened like all accidents do. The blame game does no one any good. She isn't to blame. She didn't set out to have a car accident. Brandy is one of the most awesome people in the world and has suffered over and over for something that she had no direct responsibility for. I think that suing any one for something like that is horrific. I hope they enjoy their blood money cause every time they spend it they will know that they have replaced their dead loved one for cash. I hope those who received the settlement at someone else's expense have a dance with Karma soon. It won't be so rewarding then!
i do feel bad for the victims but i also feel bad at what this has done to brandy. do you think these people would have gone after her like they did had she not been famous?

Just comes to show how some people can be filled with greed that they forget that no a single dollar will bring their loved one back. Even if they do get their money is it all worth it? After all money comes and goes and its not like we'll take it with us when we leave this world.
Of course money can't bring them back, but isn't it called Vehicular Homicide? I know someone that had the same accident; no drugs/alcohol, complete accident. She's now doing 3 years in state prison with NO RECORD. Must be nice to be able to pay people off for a crime. Celebrity justice at its best.

She's a bitch. One time, I was at a club in LA and I went to get a drink at the bar and i moved into an empty space to get the bartenders attention. Apparently Brandy's bodyguard had just been occupying that space immediately before that and apparently Brandy was nearby and he flipped out on me. I am a girl. A small girl. This 7 ft. tall gigantic muscle head began to push and shove me across the room and Brandy did nothing about it (I actually didn't even know it was her until after all of this, my friends had to inform me- because I'm not even a fan!). I told him he needed psychological help and that all I wanted was to get a drink at the bar. That only made him angrier at me and more violent. Eventually Brandy came over and asked what was going on. I told her that that dude was trying to kick my ass for no reason- she grabbed his arm and they left- no apology. Way to pick your body guards, bitch! I will never forget that incident to this day. SHE DESERVES WHAT SHE GETS.
When Brady was on Oprah with Patti LaBelle, she was really broken up over the accident. I hope now she can raise her daughter in peace…
The accident was not caused by Brandy. The exact cause of it is unknown but Brandy did hit the victim. Everyone should go listen to the song HUMAN off of Brandys last amazing album HUMAN. She wrote it after the accident and it is a great song.

Re: mattyesmateo – Don't be ridiculous. Wealthy people aren't the only one's who get sued because of car accidents. Plus she was deemed to RESPONSIBLE for the accident. Just because it was an ACCIDENT as you say doesn't mean nobody is responsible. Somebody is always RESPONSIBLE for the accident. Plus I highly doubt she paid anything out of her own pocket. If you have car insurance, it is your car insurance company that settles or fights lawsuits on the drivers behalf. Since she has some money I would hope she had a pretty big insurance policy.

When you are on a highway and traffic in front of you slows down or even comes to a dead stop and you DON'T, and you hit the rear of another car the accident is your fault. end of story!!

Exact cause unknown? She was texting and rammed into another car that makes her responsible. If she had paid attention to the road none of this would have happened.

It's not fair, brandi shouldn't have to pay SHIT, it wasn't her fault! even the cop who SAW the accident said Abujihaj (the woman dead) stopped randomly in the road, brandi couldn't have slowed down from 65 mph to avoid that, ESP not in a RANGE ROVER! they also found traces of marijuana in that woman's body.
