hell yeah, i didn't buy anything in october because i was saving up for my Modern Warfare 2 Prestige Edition and the MW2 Edition XBOX with the 250GB HDD. November is going to trump any other 3 months of 2009 combined. I'm getting Assassins Creed II next week but I can't help but think alot of people will pass because they are still getting their swerve on with MW2. Best game I have ever played hands down. So realistic and action packed.

Yea the sales are down because both Modern Warfare 2 and Left 4 Dead 2 are both coming out in November, so when normal people realize that they are going to spend $120 in one month on video games, they aren't going to spend money on them for a couple months before.

Sales are down but they weren't many great titles. It was a low season overall. The AH1N1 flu might have an effect on all sectors of the economy, especially those involving kids, because kids are hidden at home by their parents.

For once, I'm inclined to defend you from these dudes who are calling you names.

The game industry right now is in a bit of a slump, definitely. That's why the consoles are cutting prices right now, as to spur more purchases.

It's true that Modern Warfare 2 will kick ass in November (apparently it's already sold 5 million copies in the USA alone), as well the new Super Mario Bros. game, but the economy is busted. Us gamers are starting to save our money for buying just 1 or 2 games every few months, instead of 1 or two games every week.

Because there was shit out in October. November is the month you have to look out for because of the holidays and a lot of good shit comes out around this time. I'm getting that new Super Mario tomorrow.
