Jimmy Fallon better find a way to grab his younger viewers' attention, because he is slowly losing his audience to Craig Ferguson.
According to the ratings from last week, Craig pulled ahead of Jimmy in the 18-49 demo. Considering that no one over 40 actually watches Jimmy's show, that's really bad!
Will Craig continue his stride and leave Jimmy at the bottom of the late-night talk show pool?
Possibly.
Jimmy better get a move on with that Save By The Bell reunion!

I love Craig Ferguson, his is the only late night show I watch.
Congrats to Craig Ferguson. FINALLY he's getting the ratings. His dancing bits with the puppets are absolutely hilarious!
I feel bad because he's a nice guy (I assume) — but he's NOT funny.. I didn't think he was funny on SNL, and I REALLY don't think he's funny on Late Night.. It's sad too, because you can tell he totally finds himself amusing, and he's just waiting for the audience to realize how hilarious he isn't but it's not gonna happen :/
Jimmy's show does have it's dull moments but he's hilarious. His Real Housewives of Late Night? So funny.
I do love Craig though, he's always so funny.
Hopefully Jimmy's ratings pick up a bit, not only is he funny but he's a total cutie
Re: lizziec123 – I think that Real Housewives skit is so funny, too. I like a lot of his skits, but his interviews and monologue aren't as funny/interesting. He seems like such a genuinely nice guy (unless my radar is way off and it's a total act)…he just doesn't have that *edge*. Because he seems so nice I really want him to do well, though!

I love Jimmy. Since he's one of the younger late night talk show hosts, he appeals to me more. My grandma thinks he's cute, which I find hilarious, but I think he's cute too. I haven't been able to watch him a lot since he's on so late. The 7th Floor West and the Real Housewives of Late Night bits are so funny.
Craig is hilarious. Jimmy is just annoying. Easy win, no competition.

This shocks me! Craig Ferguson is NOT funny AT ALL! I liked Craig Kilborn who was on before him much better. Everytime I see him on, I turn the station. I was sad when Conan left, but I think Jimmy Fallon is hillarious! He has that stupid/funny comedy just like all of the SNL-ers! I just can't believe that more young people would think that Craig Ferguson is funnier! The people being surveyed by Nielsen must have an extreme dull sense of humor!
I cannot get enough of Craig Ferguson! I wish he was on earlier, because he has me screaming laughing on the floor during his full hour. He is absolutely BRILLIANT! Jimmy Fallon is cute but a GIANT SNORE.

I find jimmy fallon painful to watch sometimes. he's a little too awkward. he lacks on the spot cleverness. he is rarely funny during non-skits which makes his interviews boring, and not to mention his monologues are just terrible.

So lip syncing "Mmmbop" at the beginning of your show with a wig on and puppets is comedy? Ferguson is the worst talk show host I have ever seen. And I remember Magic and Chevy Chase's horrible shows. Fallon is funny and The Roots are tight as hell. It's Leno's sh*t show that is bringing down Conan and Fallon. Retire Already! And take that hack Ferguson with you!

Jimmy, hire a writer. I hope that you don't have one now, because if you do, they should be fired. I liked Jimmy on SNL when he had good material. The other thing is, as a host, the focus should be on the guest, not you.

I love Craig too. I was wondering about this because I just recently discovered Craig's charm and talent. Was I the only young person enjoying this show? He is very funny. And I have to admit that I love his opening song and video. He pulled off the sexy look. The puppets are dumb but the monologue is awesome. Like so many people have said is the only late show that I care to watch. I tried to watch the Jimmy Fallon show, but it really bores me. It's too bad because I like Jimmy but the show needs to take away some of the stupid stuff. Like the carpet sample's giveaway, what's funny about that?

Sorry Jimmy but Craig's always been my man. I have to say I did watch Fallon's show recently and I would say he has improved since the first days of the show, maybe he needs time to hit his stride. But Craig had his stride on from the beginning and he just gets better so………

Craig Ferguson is incredibly funny and smart. He is also a natural at what he does. Every night is original, unpredictable and cracks me up.
Fallon, on the other hand, is NOT funny or smart, and he is uptight and uncomfortable. He always seems awkward and it is hard to watch.

Craig Ferguson is HILARIOUS and he's so hot. Jimmy Fallon's show is incredibly boring. Craig is finally getting the ratings he deserves!
Why does it have to be one or the other? I think they're both really funny, in very different ways. It took Fallon a while to get comfortable, but he's much better and still getting better. Ferguson is more reliably hilarious, as in laugh out loud funny every night. He's the best off the cuff monologue "deliverer" ever in late night. He's silly smart. Fallon likes to improvise and joke around.
Yeah! Way to Go Craig!!! Glad to see the rest of my age group is finally catching up with what we all knew! The Late Late Show with Craig is the BEST! After a long day and of everyday life, you can ALWAYS count on Craig to make you laugh! My sister and I are his BIGGEST fans, and we Love, Love …love his Puppets! Where can you get one of those Gators!
