Whataya Want From Me is probably not going to be my favorite off the album (it's just not my thing) but it's a good song and I like it. The SECOND track that was released, Master Plan, is incredible though! I can't believe it's just a bonus track, it's a million times better than this song. It's got a Britney feel to it and the lyrics are beautifully in-your-face.

Finally, we can hear his amazing voice in this song! For Your Entertainment is way over-produced, way too Brittany, which seems totally bizarre and not Adam. You couldn't hear his voice at all. 2012 is fun but still not quite what we Adam fans are expecting. This song is interesting and you can tell it is him singing. I think I'm still waiting for something to really feel like Adam and knock my socks off… Whoever helped him in Idol should be helping him now, too!! You made him unique and original and so fun to watch and let his voice shine. We need to see that just with original works. Good luck Adam!!

Good but not blown away amazing like I'm sure a retro rock sound would be…Adam think about the reception your Bowie set got on the tour…also every one of the AI performances……the tunes on this album pale by comparison. Of course everything you do is better than most…For the first CD I'm thinking many of the people who LOVE you probably are a bit disappointed. I will still enjoy listening to this cd. I'm anxiously waiting for the Rock God to make another appearance!

Re: suffragettecity – i just did my research. and before you call someone out i suggest u do the same. on his new record he has partial writing credit on 4 songs. 1 song he helped out with only one other song writer. the other 3 with his name included was with up to 4 others. so in conclusion i stand by my earlier comments. so if u need proof i googled adam lambert songwriter and found the whole rundown of each track, who wrote it and who produced it

By your way of thinking if a song writer can't sing, he is useless, or if a violinist can't build their own violin they are a waste. I love the song. I think Adam is extremely talented, and I choose to look at his talent and not his lifestyle, which really nauseates me personally (okay, just the RS interview). I hope he grows up (i'm not just talking the gayness, but I also don't want it to be what defines him). Anyhoo….GREAT SONG!!!! Surprisingly different than what I expected. And…by the way…Christ died so that NO man should perish. And that includes Adam, you assholes who are calling him an abomination (as you are having premarital sex, smoking pot, and drinking, considering yourself so much better). He's written a bunch of songs on the album but they're not gonna leak those are they. He's been writing and performing all his life.

The album is EXCATLY how he described his vision months ago.

"As if a 70s time-capsule blasted off into space and you're watching it through a holographic filter."

He wanted variety yet a cohesive overall fusion sound for his debut. Every album he's going to produce is going to have a different sound with different visuals, that's his aim.

This guy has been down the road and WORKED for it. He has been gigging literally, for YEARS. He's fronted every band from metal, classic rock, experimental alt rock, art rock, psychedelic to acid.

He listens to everything, as everyone should.
