In the upcoming issue of Rolling Stone magazine, Adam Lambert holds nothing back when discussing Gene Simmons' stoopid comments about his homosexuality from earlier in the year.
Says the American Idol runner-up:
"Gene Simmons spouted something, that he thought I’d ruined my career by coming out. He’s obnoxious, and what a hypocrite - all he talks about is his sex life. He was being a dick - and he’s not the greatest singer. I guess he’s a good businessman. I’ll give him that."
Gene is kind of a diva!
We wonder if he'll bite his big old tongue or come back with even more insults of his own!

It's not like Simmons put his talents down he just voiced an opinion and in this case I believe it's true. Rock fans mainly consist of straight, hard partying males and Simmons simply thought that his coming out and the way he did it would be detrimental to him selling records to his target audience.

Second, Gene has been famous for thirty years so he has earned the right to be a dick or whatever else he wants. It's not like anyone takes him seriously as a person anyway. I would state that Gene's comments are never personal. He is an astute and proven businessman, and if Glambert ever bothers to ask him why he said what he said, Simmons would gladly fill him in; and he would probably tell Glambert why, and he would probably have a point. Glambert might learn a thing or two from this veteran, instead of thinking he knows it all before he's even proven himself as any more than a runner up winner in a t.v. talent show.
Being gay isn't going to end Adam's career; but the craptastic songs he's choosing will.

I don't really like Gene Simmons but I respect him. He can be rude and whatever, but I mean he's part of KISS. I LOVE Adam, but he's dang lucky that he even got to set foot on the same stage as them. I mean Adam rocked it and was amazing, but he should've bit his tongue on this one. I don't think Gene meant it in a bad way, but it could have come off that way. Gene seems like a nice enough guy, last year I would watch The Two Coreys with my mom and it would come on right after Gene Simmon's reality show and he seemed pretty cool.
