I hope she goes back to her hot latin international music roots. She had some really unique and special songs popping out until she started trying to adopt what some market as cool. She's not rap or gangsta, and doesn't need it, either.
the video is a totally pointless assortment of random imagery trying to look modern interspersed with a "dance" segment that looks like a line dance done by some strippers on ex. the song itself, on the other hand, is actually pretty good. it has a fair melody, interesting percussion, and only a small sprinkle of her odd accent - or maybe that's some artifact of robovocals… either way, it's a song i would jam out to on the radio

OK, She Wolf got European dance, Dit it Again is Brazilian Capoeira, and now this one's Hip hop??? She's definiely making sure she pleases her multicultural fan base. I really like the song… the video is cool but not her best, The dance is amazing… she's no beyonce… for the record, Shakira taught moves to Beyonce while filming Beautiful Liar and Beyonce called her "her inspiration" at the EMAS. and the Album in Spanish is coming soon, let us enjoy her English-Global mix,

I don't get it- either her dancing is just OFF, or the editing on her vidz is bad- too long exposure on jerky, freaky moves. After this, I went back and watched ALL her old vidz - something annoying about the whole thing. She's just not FEELING it. 'She Wolf' vid is better, but still damned annoying somehow.

Love Shakira. Best Pop International Female Artist (right behind Madge of course). 2. Since Beautiful Liar (way to go Beyonce! to push a duet with someone who was on the Top, pretty much like she is doing with Gaga now) where she and Bee looked like twins (well, more like Bee traying to look like Shak) everyone has been trying to compare them. They're so different, they make different music. Bee will never do an album like "She Wolf" nor Shak do an album like "I am…" So, they're great, they're huge, but don't U guys think that when Bee said at this year's EMA that Shak was HER inspiration, that actually meant that "SHAK DOES NOT COPY HER!!!" I lve prety much everythink about Shaki. But her roots are not, well, whatever this is. Her earlier videos had much more soul and much less "pop machine." But she does have charitable foundations, and her life is not mine, so I have no right to judge.

I'm incredibly depressed by this. She doesn't even show off her mad hip-moving skills! All the spirit that made Shakira… well, Shakira, is gone! In my opinion we don't need another faceless sex symbol! I think we have too many already… it's just a pity Hollywood had to take what was such a true and expressive artist.
I love her to bits but this video is really bad. I mean, even I can do a better effect than what she had on the Shiva thingy at the end. Also, it's too oriented to an American audience and well, let's face it, they don't love her.
Haters. Shakira is smarter than half of you who leave comments on Perez…love her! You haters can say all you want, but she composes all of her music, plays several instruments, produces all her cd's, writes her own music…the list continues. On top of that when I saw her a few years ago in concert she made her ticket prices reasonable since a large number of her fans live in impoverished countries. She's also an ambassador to the U.N. I certainly can't remember when a global pop star invested so much into their fan base. You need to realize that 99% of you will never meet any of these people, you might as well invest some time in someone who gives a fuck about you since none of these people including Perez does.
