Penny Marshall Is "Fine", She Says

Thank goodness!

Hollywood legend Penny Marshall is "fine", she says, despite rumors swirling that she was suffering from brain cancer and liver tumors.

The Enquirer reported that Marshall had brain surgery last month.

Penny's response?:

"I know…there's all that shit. I'm walking and talking and I'm fine. Thank you for your concern, but I'm fine. They get it a little cockeyed sometimes."

She was in "Laverne and Shirley" back in the day, now she's a director/producer. The biggest movie she's directed was "Big" (the Tom Hanks movie), and she got an Oscar nomination for "Awakenings." She really is quite awesome.
