A flash mob took over The Grove in LA Saturday afternoon, paying tribute to Janet Jackson by replicating her signature moves in a medley of Janet tunes!
And Miss Jackson was peering down on the dancers from a balcony above the crowd!!!!

I expect this kind of of retardedness from people in foreign countries that don't know any better, but Americans should know better. I guess people in LA really are just pathetic. Who would waste their time organizing this and what sort of pathetic loser would actually go out of their way to show up and participate?
I love flashmob videos, but this would have been more entertaining to me if EVERYONE down below was in the flashmob. It just looked weird with people standing there. I like the Oprah/BEP flashmob better
However on another note, I am glad Janet was happy about people having fun to her music. If this was Prince, he'd go apeshit and sue the fuck out of all those people

You know what, I was actually one of those "pathetic losers" dancing and it was very, very fun! I got to meet a lot of new, interesting people who shared a similar taste in music, and got to just be silly and young! So many people take things too seriously nowadays…ain't nothing wrong with letting loose! AND I got to do it all IN FRONT of Janet herself!
All that work and all she gave was the Miss America wave! lol She look so unbothered!

Umm is it really a flash mob when there are hundreds of people waiting around for it to happen? Cameras in plain sight etc.. The magical thing about that T Mobile ad was people didn't know what was going on.. same thing with the Oprah one. This looks so awesome. I've been in a flashmob before when MJ announced This Is It… sad… anyway… it was a fun experience. And I bet doing it infront of the person your tributing it to is even better. Janet looked 'bleh' though. She could've shown more emotion.

As far as flashmobs go this one was an epic fail. Looked contrived, badly planned, out of synch, and oddly cramped. Plus lets get real, that hack known as Janet Jackson was there, ready to get some press, so how fucking spontaneous could that Flash M have been. All in all a big Boooooooooooooo jisssssssssss for this one.
