You clearly have no respect for life and no respect for the suffering of other beings. Your past actions and the fact that you brag about that sort of vile, cruel, pointless and inhumane treatment of animals is shameful, disgusting, and speaks volumes about your morality and limited ethics.

The dish would taste exactly the same had the fish been cooked while it was dead. The point of the dish is to eat something while it is still suffering. To cause pain to another being without consideration of its ability to feel pain, and to witness your own ability to cause pain and suffering. Do you feel like God now?

One a side note, you could be legally implicated for such an admission and should be careful in the future. There are both state and federal laws that punish activity such as this.

Bodily reactions that occur after death happen instantaneously after severe trauma (such as chopping of the head) while the other bodily systems shut down. The cooking of the fish takes several minutes. This is not the type of killing that would cause the animal to flail post mortum.

open your eyes people. this is just a teeny tiney sample of the abuse animals endure worldwide. bears have their gallbladders cut out while fully conscious. cats and dogs are raised in squalor then skinned for their furs then sold to americans on clothes. 500 lb bears are hunted and killed for trophys. den hunting is a sport where hibernating momma bears are killed leaving orphaned cubs to starve to death. us horses are sold for inhumane slaughter in mexico and canada. but the worst part is the fact that farm animals suffer horribly their entire lives only to be slaughtered so americans can eat a cheeseburger or bacon or fried eggs. you do not have to eat meat to live!!! there are other alternatives!!!!!! One has been gutted and has no head but the guy pokes it with a knife and it flops around like crazy. Look at some videos and see if they change your mind. As sick as this is and something I would NEVER do nor want to see EVER, I just felt the need to comment that the people in the video are also talking about how sick it is. Even though you do see someone eventually try it, the girl screaming in the back is saying how gross and scary it is and how she doesn't want to eat it. This is quite horrific; part of me understands that the reason some people would "enjoy" the thought of this is the knowing that it's "fresh", however, having an animal alive while you eat it is really an incredible act of cruelty and a slow and horrific death. Not that it justifies anything, but the only consolation is that this Fish probably feels nothing at this rate as shock has probably set in.
