Bublé Defends Spears
The whole Britney Spears lipsynching saga continues, with many critics in Australia still bashing Brit Brit for her pricey concert tickets to a non "live" show.
But stepping out in her defense is hot Canadian crooner Michael Bublé.
While doing an interview in Australia to promote his latest album, Crazy Love, Bublé reveals, "You'd think she killed someone. Okay, she lip-synchs her show, people know that, they make the decision if they want to go and see her do that."
Well, we're sure not everyone knew before that she lipsynched her entire concert, but they do now. And the Aussies aren't happy about it.
But Bublé adds, "Does she deserve the way she's been completely bashed by the media here? No."
He goes on to joke, "Mind you, I lip-synch all my concerts. I'm the Milli Vanilli of jazz."
What do U think? Is a concert that's completely lipsynched worth going to?

I paid for tickets to see Britney Spears concert and if anyone thought it was going to be a full live concert has not been paying attention these past years.
Don't fucking by expensive tickets, enjoy the concert, then fuckin bitch about the cost after the fact !
Im going to her show in Sydney tomorrow night so I guess I cant tell you til then if it was worth it. But, I know she lipsynchs but I am still expecting an awesome show!
im from perth australia, i went to the second showing of it.. but i got to go for free.. even though she did lip-synch it was still an amazing show, she put on a great performance and i dont think with what she was doing she would have been able to sing that great as she would over work herself

Well I think it's only fair that the potential ticket-buyer at least know ahead of time that is what they'll be getting for their money. If they like a performer enough to buy a ticket knowing that is what they'll be getting then that is entirely up to them but I think it's only right they be informed ahead of time. Some people genuinely do not care and I guess they feel it's worth the money spent to merely be in the same place at the same time as someone they admire. I myself like a variety of performers, even many who lipsynch in concert, but would not bother to pay to see a concert if the person in question would not be singing live. Of those performers whose voices are not strong enough or whatever to sing live, I'm happy to simply enjoy them on CD at home.
i have been to the show and it was one of the most exciting shows i have ever been to. we all know that britney doesnt sing live but she doesn't have that strong of a voice especially with all the dancing and moving around she's doing. beyonce and lady gaga might be able to but they have much stronger and different voices then her… and apparently her fans don't care if she doesn't sing live since the circus was the biggest selling tour of the year
Madonna signs live and she dances also. Britney can't do it. Other singers sing live, Cher, Celine, Bette, Barry Manilow, etc. She doesn't have what it takes to do it live. She wont be around for years and years to come. It is just a matter of time before she disappears or goes in a diferent direction. Look at Jessica Simpson. She will never make it to the top.

Some singers don't sing well live. Some singers are too busy dancing around to sing well live. I would prefer to go see someone live that lip syncs than go and see them sound like shit. I want to see the PERSON not test them on their live vocal skills

If these people are lip synching all their concerts it just tells me that they really can't sing worth a damn. All their albums are done in studios, mixed, fixed and covered up to where they sound good. The record companies are selling a person, not their voice. It's a joke. I think people have the right to be pissed off. They paid for a live show and should get one. She's got one hell of a lot of nerve and so does any other singer that's pulling this bullshit stunt!!! By definition, someone who lip syncs is not giving a concert. A concert entails live music/singing.
yes go see her. a BS concert is not about singing anyways. have you heard her music? its not the kind of music singers could sing anyways. BS concerts are about dance numbers, effects, lighting and showmanship. its a pop concert.

I've been to a Britney concert, and her shows are incredible. We all know she lipsynch's because there is no way she could do her vocals with all the dancing she does. People go to her shows and any concert for that matter for the atmosphere, if they didn't then they would just stay home an listen to the CD.

I think we as spectators at a concert have gotten spoiled by concerts. We get bored if someone just stands there and sings. Now it has to be flashing lights, fireworks, dazzling stage effects, tight choreography with tens of dancers on stage. If that's your form of entertainment, that's fine, I'm not hating on it, but I miss the intimacy with the audience with those kind of shows. The artists I care about–I could care less if they could dance. Just put on a great live show with some great stories behind the songs.
As far as Britney, perhaps she can't sing & dance at the same as other artists are able to (although I believe most of the ones people claim are able to are really singing to a safety track). But her songs aren't created to be sung live anyway.They're mostly studio creations with layers of vocals and magic production techniques.
I saw Britney on thursday 19th in Sydney. And she was AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!! The whole concert was just amazing. Any true fan of Britney's already know that she lip-sync's . She sang 4 songs live at the concert. Beyonce' lip-syncd in her concert in September in Aust. Where is the controversy about that? Honestly, newspapers in Australia are just like Ok magazine or Famous!!!!!! Whatever happened to real reporting? The actual facts? The most famous pop star in the world has finally came to Australia and it is the biggest thing since the Queen came. They have really destroyed our chances of having such an AMAZING TALENTED ENTERTAINER COME TO OUR COUNTRY. Her true fans don't deserve this. We are the ones who wanted her to come to Australia for the past 10 years. And she came here for us, not to be judged by people who have a desk job in front of a computer. Britney's Australian fans love her!!!!!!!!!
