Janet Jackson Discusses Michael's Intervention Attempts!
During her interview on Wednesday's Good Morning America, Janet Jackson reveals that her family did the best they could to help Michael with his addiction to prescription drugs.
"Of course, that's what you do," said Janet. "Those are the things that you do when you love someone. You can't just let them continue on that way."
But, it never went far!
"We did a few times," she continued. "We weren't very successful. He understood that it was out of love, out of caring. But people can be in denial."
Janet goes on to say that out of her eight siblings, she was closest to "Mike." They even spent some very meaningful days together before her birthday this past May.
"We had a lot of fun laughing. He was cracking up . . . Laughing at me," she remembered.
So sad.

Bless her heart. She seems to grasp the full understanding of his situation. He was used to running things his own way, and was very successful, and some would even say brilliant at it; and that self-determining scenario lent itself to other areas of his life where it maybe didn't serve him so well. He's not suffering at all; it's the family that are left that suffer and have to deal. I'm glad that the always expected post-life resurgence in his popularity will aid his family; they will earn it, dealing with what's left. If it helps lift them up in any way, then that's all good.

She is just the best sister! I have always known that about her. He definitely favored her. I could see it in the end of the SCREAM video. She resembles him and for that I am very grateful. I love both Michael and Janet.

Intervention is one thing but then there is another step and that is having a person committed because they are a danger to themselves. Eventually you stop being angry at the people who do it to you, if you accept there was a reason for it being done. That's really important because anymore no matter who you try to do it quietly those dildos with ears in the press usually find out somehow and then the whole f***in world knows…
