Justin Bieber Poised To Rock Album Sales! Idol Champ Kris Allen To Debut With A Dud!

Our favorite new tween singing sensation, Justin Bieber, released his debut album My World on Tuesday and his expected sales for the week are going to fall between 110,000 - 120,000 copies in the U.S.!
Very impressive for Justin!
Set to take the top spot is John Mayer with his new album, Battle Studies, and projected sales of 275,000 - 300,000!
Norah Jones' The Fall should take second at 150K - 160K followed by 50 Cent's Before I Self-Destruct at 140K - 150K.
But perhaps the most disappointing release of all is Kris Allen's self-titled debut! It's only expected to sell between 75,000 and 80,000!
Kris was the WINNER of American Idol!
That's just sad!

At least in some states, a child can't work until they are at least 14 years old. That SHOULD apply to the music industry as well. I understand the need for child actors in movies, TV, etc., but not the music industry.
Secondly, I bought the John Mayer and Kris Allen CD. They're both the same, I like them the same. If Allen doesn't sell well, it's because the Powers that Be put WAY too much emphasize on Adam Lambert, who LOST the competition. Since when did losers become winners? And Lambert's own music? I'll take Kris's anyday. Seriously. It's less pretenscious (sorry, can't remember how to spell that word).

Unfortunately for the albums that all came out this week, only one of them has any sort of shelf life and that's Leona's and unfortunately MAYBE Justin's depending hoe long this unnecessary Aaron Carter like, late 90's craze lasts. The other albums just don't have singles material that will keep the album selling. Leona has a ton of potential singles on her album that keep her album sales going for a long time. So while her album hasn't done the best (which by the way they should have pushed back her album release seeing as how she isn't as developed as alot of these other artists who released material) she still has that Avatar movie promotion, which could definitely catipult her atop the charts again next month.
Plus she needs to release a new single, one of her better ones on the album. Happy isn't doing bad at all on iTunes but either way she needs to get a new song out.

I bought Justin's album on Tuesday, I don't plan on buying Kris'. He re put songs he did on idol on there… sad. I already pre-ordered Adam's and Adam didn't re-make any old songs, this is all new shit, with Muse featured and the help of Gaga and P!nk. Adam should have won, but America voted for Kris because he wasn't Adam. Adam is obviously more talented than Kris. No comparison.
