Nic Cage's Former Manager Countersues!
As if he didn't already have enough money woes!
Nicolas Cage is being countersued by his former business manager!
Cage filed a lawsuit against Samuel J. Levin last month for $20 mil, stating Levin effed him over with "highly speculative and risky real estate investments, resulting in…catastrophic losses," but his former biz manager is singing a different tune!
In his countersuit, Levin states Cage's financial problems are the result of the actor's spending habits!
He says he warned Nic about his overspending and informed Cage he would need to earn at least $30 million a year to cover his expenditures. $30 million??? Holy crap-pie!
According to the legal docs, Nic spent "$33 million in property, 22 automobiles and nearly 50 pieces of expensive jewelry, art and other exotic items" in 2007 alone!!
Cage also "spent huge sums taking his sizable entourage on costly vacations and threw enormous, Gatsby-scale parties at his residences."
No wonder all of his money is gone; there's no reason to place the blame on someone else!!

I'm sure Cage spent money, but the manager's books and finanglings also need to be looked at with a fine-toothed comb. Fault will be fairly easy to determine as the deposits that come in need receipts to go out, at the minimum for the IRS.
