Ridiculous!
Due to some bogus rule Lady GaGa is ineligible to be nominated for Best New Artist when it's pretty clear that she IS the best new artist of the year!
The reason?
Gagaloo was nominated for Just Dance last year in the dance recording category rendering her unable to be nominated under the Best New Artist category this year by Grammy regulations.
Lady GaGa has had multiple singles hit Number One off of her debut album, The Fame, which has sold more than 1.53 million copies!
And those facts alone speak louder than some silly old Grammy statue!
You're the best new artist to us (and the rest of the world), 'bb!

As usual you are burying the lead with your post. Not only will she be ineligible for Best New Artist but she will also ineligible for multiple Album of the Year awards in various genres because The Fame was released before the nominating period Oct 2008-August 2009.
