Well deserved and rather overdue!
Jay-Z and New York City have a lot to be proud of this week. Jay and his song Empire State of Mind have hit the big time: #1 song on the Billboard Hot 100!!!
Remarkably, this is the first time this has ever happened in Jay-Z's musical career. (He came close with his hit Run This Town, which reached #2 on the charts.)
Congratulations are in order! We're sure Beyonce is proud.
