J.K. Rowling Is Face Of The Labour Party!!

J.K. Rowling is using her massive influence in the political sphere!

The Harry Potter scribe has become the face of Labour's "working class heroes" in a new campaign to win back voters.

Rowling's rise to fame from nothing demonstrates true “Brit grit” as she “opened rejection letters from her bedsit in Edinburgh with the dream of bringing the pleasure of reading to children."

The author has been a longtime supporter of the Labour party and feels that the county would best be served by their ideals!

Either way, she is quite the inspiration!

That is one powerful name to trot out but by all accounts the U.K. is going to go the way of many European countries by voting the Tories back in power for the first time since I believe the mid 90's.
Perez settled with the B.E.P.'s manager.

Good J.K. we can all smell the blood in the water, the British Labor Party is in trouble…& the Tory Party is helmed by a very charming man…but my guess is he is a beautifully packaged bottle of poison.

Awesome! I have no idea what the Labour party is, but if JKR supports it then I'm fully behind it as well. That woman is AMAZING!!!!! :D

    14. 14

Think with all her money she could afford to have a dress that fits properly.. whats up with the side boob?

    15. 15

Big joke the Labor party sucks the life out of the working class. Not to mention their atrocious leniency on criminals. Good luck with that Rowling and try not to alienate too many of your fans.

      i love her!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Her "rise to fame from nothing"? Really? Aside from depression, she lived a charmed life. She divorced her husband and decided to live off of what we in the US would consider welfare while she finished her Master's Degree. During her time on welfare she wrote Harry Potter.

So yeah, if you consider a woman living off of the government BY CHOICE, while working on a graduate degree "nothing" then you're completely right.

Did it work out? Yeah. Really well. She's an incredible woman.

But let's not pretend she was living on the street, or was without any job opportunities. She chose to live off of the government to further her writing/career.

She is so amaze. Such a babe.

    19. 19

This is excellent. We really need it here in former colony NZ…

If this were true why did they edit her out of the video that you're talking about before putting it on TV?

I'm glad somebody else sees sense, after a month with the torys in power people will be kicking and screaming for things to go back to the way they were, I guarentee. Has nobody noticed how all other the world people are voting out there governments, it's not labours problem, people are just can't accept the recession is global. seriously, do you want to be lead by some posh over privileged public school twats.

Re: smiley010992 – i don't care what backgrounds people have; be they black, white, rich, poor, slobs or posh… it's what they're going to do that matters. why not leave the class war in the 1800s where it belongs?

    23. 23

Re: Rose Shelton – Thanks for pointing that out Rose. She's sadly not alone in making lifestyle choices like that. Surely in a fair world the Treasury should get some of her royalties. She may have given £1million to the Labour Party but it was the taxpayer at large that subsidised her early career.

    24. 24

JK is nothing short of amazing. Harry Potter should never even be compared to Twilight in any realm of the universe it is too far superior!

Re: smiley010992 – It doesn't matter what class their in if they're the best to lead the country. I'm not all that convinced by the Tories, but I don't really see Labour being voted back- and its not just the recession fault but a whole truckload of other reasons.

    26. 26

She's my idol for a reason.

    27. 27

J.K Rowling and all the magic of Harry Potter won't be enough to save Labour. It's time for the Tories!

    28. 28

Good. JK Rowling deserves everything in the world.
