Redmond O'Neal Needs To Step It Up!

wenn5188737ro.jpg

Redmond O'Neal, the son of Ryan O'Neal and Farrah Fawcett, is currently in residential treatment at Impact and apparently he isn't participating as much as he should be!

The judge heard this in Redmond's progress report and he wasn't pleased saying, "I thought this kid wanted to do something. He isn't working as hard as he can."

Uh, oh!

Raymond May, a rep from Impact, pointed out that because Redmond "did a massive amount of drugs for years" that his emotional growth was "stunted…and he is just coming out of that."

Redmond said that he has been sober for 9 months and agreed that while he hasn't been doing as well as he should have, he is also grieving the loss of his mother. He's now due back in court on December 2 and the judge warned him:

"The report better be glowing, or there will be consequences."

Yikes!

He better heed the judge's warning or Redmond could be sporting an orange jumpsuit pretty soon!

Cute kid though. Why do I always like the troubled ones…? Oh, yeah, right.

I hope Farrah's will had a stipulation that Redmond doesn't get big chunks of money all at once. He'll be dead.
Besides being an addict, I suspect some sort of developmental problems too

i dont like the idea of the judge making comments on something he doesnt really know about - it puts the workers at the rehab facility in a bad position. if they believe their facility is the best place for him or if they just want him to be there to keep paying his bills then theyr going to have write his next report with the judges words in mind. it can compromise their reliabilty.

Perez you settled with B.E.P.'s management for mostly a letter of apology.

I hope he does really well. Hope he has family to support him emotionally. Hope he stays far away from Ryan until he doesn't influence him anymore.

He'd better straighten up and fly right - he has a certain angel that can see EVERYTHING now. He kills himself - he won't be going where she is!

C'mon Redmond you have had more chances that most people to get sober and stay out of prison. You are too old for this game, and the judge is gettting tired of your act.

R I P farrah, but was it really good judgement to leave that kinda coin to a crackhead?

How fast is he going to blow through that inheritance? His excuse will be that he is grieving his mom. I hope I am wrong.

    11. 11

for a kid that has money, why does he dress like a turd.

    12. 12

I would hope the money is in a trust fund.

Well… I cant believe it but it has been exactly 10 years since the last time I saw Redmond in person. I was 16. He was younger. We were both in Mexico at a residential treatment/behavior modification center. It was called WWASPS. It has since been shut down. I remember Red just like he was.. we actually went through our seminars together. He was a great kid and I only want the best for him… It's sad seeing all these things going on with him. I hope he figures everything out… :)

Comment completely irrelevant to his drug issues, but how could the genes of Ryan O'Neal and Farrah Faucett combine to create someone who is an exact physical duplicate of Dustin Diamond aka Screech from Saved by the Bell?

He just lost his mom under some very straining personal circumstances. He will have to sh*t or get off the pot, regardless. Some people excel at making things so hard on themselves. He can either use this as an excuse to completely spiral, or he can grow up and start putting one intelligent foot in front of the other and living a life that's more pleasant, constructive and rewarding. He'll need some help figuring out how to do that from bloody somewhere.

Quite frankly, he should've been wearing orange in the 1st place. If it was me (which it has been) or you we'd be up in state for a good year or so. This "celebrity justice" really pisses me off….
